It was about a mile from our Grandson's new home. Convenient, clean and Comfortable.

We arrived to a welcoming staff. The lobby was clean with the exception of the stained furniture from usage. Our room seemed acceptable until my husband cut his foot on the carpet from a staple coming up from the flooring. The ceiling appears to have water damage near the air conditioner in the bedroom. There was not bedding for the pullout bed- when I called to get bedding no one answered. The lobby was full of guest with similar issues. They did not have bedding and gave me an under skit to use as his blanket. The pool was foggy and overcrowded with a softball team that left trash and monopolized the BBQ area all evening. There was dirt and trash everywhere by the pool and they did not keep up on pool towels. On Fathers Day we were trying to make the best of our trip and someone thought they stepped in feces at the bottom of the pool and they left the area. I reported it to the lobby and they sent someone out. They told us the pool would be closed for the rest of the day to shock and clean the area. I asked the front desk to PLEASE let me know when if they reopen the pool as that was why we were staying at this facility. We were disappointed and spent the rest of the day in our room. On our way to dinner we checked the area and the pool had been open. I complained to the front desk and all they could say was sorry. I felt our money could be better spent somewhere else. We came with the expectation of a clean facility as promised on the website and left disgusted.

The complimentary breakfast is okay. However the room cleaning needs more attention. Lots of dust and spider webs in the room. Also bed mattress needs replacement, very uncomfortable along with sofa bed. More linen and blankets needed in the room. Pool water was a bit dirty for being mid day.

The staff was kind and helpful. When I had issues with the AC they came immediately (it was 112 outside) and tried to fix it. When that didn't work they switched rooms for me. The property itself was well kept and the landscaping lovely. I did trip a bit on the constant rocks rolling onto the sidewalk. Breakfast was more than adequate for me although some with kids might like a waffle maker. Perhaps removed due to children's burns and legal issues? The only negative is there was no free internet. I'm so tired of the dings in pricing that I didn't use it, but using the phone is so tiny and limiting for eyes over 40. All in all I would recommend this facility.

This was the first time we've stayed at a Homewood Suites property. I like the suite concept with the full size refridge and the kitchen utensils (plates/knifes/forks/etc.). It made staying in the room MUCH homier. The pool was a unique shape and made swimming as a family much easier.
