Worst Bed I have ever slept in.

Posted Jan 2, 2017
Pros: Staff was good
Cons: Get some real beds
Location: Located at the very North end of town. Not so desirable
The floor would have been more comfortable. The bed looked OK and was clean, but it was like sleeping on a hard plywood box with lumps in it. The beds were so strange; they had a pillow top over what seemed to be a bottom spring box that felt like concrete. Couldn't find comfort at all!!

Great if on a budget

Posted Nov 7, 2016
Pros: quiet. A good value. great view of the mountains.
Cons: parking lot in very poor shape, landscaping in terrific need of a redo. Needs to be painted badly. The room was very clean and acceptable.
Location: very close to Downtown......easy walking distance
Room was very clean. Facilities are clean and neat but "long in the tooth"...meaning lots of deferred maintenance. It is in an ideal location within walking distance to the Downtown and Billy Reeds three doors away. For the price it beats the heck out of Motel Six, but is isn't the Marriott either. Good solid breakfast and delicious coffee.

Location: We were there for Coachella Oldfella concert...Shuttle was across the street.
The beds were not comfortable...but the pool was good. And the staff was great.

The Ivy Palm is a good value.

Posted Sep 26, 2016
Cons: The hotel could use at least a refresh, but the staff and comfort and cleanliness was just fine! There are 2 pools and a jacuzzi that were a delight.
Location: Close enough to everything in Palm Springs. Not much in walking distance, though.
The Ivy Palm could use a facelift, but then the prices would go up and it's a good value.

Ivy Rooms

Posted Sep 11, 2016
Pros: was very clean and close to restaurants and shops.
Cons: The rooms could use some upgrades with a more modern flare.
Location: Lots to do near by. Great location.
The staff was very nice and the rooms were very clean. The hotel could use some upgrades in the bathrooms and closet space and overall rooms.

Don't go here

Posted Jul 4, 2016
Pros: Nothing, anymore.
Cons: Get proper personnel, invest on a restaurant, fix the damaged pools and spa, change the mattresses and clean the rooms.
I stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and it was cleaner, nicer and they had a restaurant. Now, the restaurant is out of business, there is not even a vending machine and the people that does the room cleaning look suspicious, not even to mention they just DO NOT clean. Mattresses are hard as a rock and sheets are filthy, they don't even leave TP in the restroom and when you ask for it, you have to go and get it from reception. Amazing !!!

Bad stay

Posted Jun 1, 2016
Old building with patch works. Uncomfortable bed. Thin sheets. Bad odor coming from vent on last day stay.
