3 years in a row! Best time!

Our 10 year anniversary couldn't have been better! Our stay this year was mid Aug. Monday - Wednesday, no crowds, temp. 112°, low 80's at top of tram, nice hiking, Pool, Lobby Bar, Rockwood dinner...THE BEST!!! Rooms clean, quiet, staff very friendly, had dinner at Rockwood for first time and it alone rates 5 Stars!!! It will be hard NOT to come back for our 11th and make 4 years in a row! Worth the splurge!

Disorganization with hotel staff

Pros: The hotel has pretty much everything you would need.
Cons: knowledge from staff
Location: there are 3 restaurants in the hotel, the cool lobby bar with live music, large pool ( I would not recommend bringing kids here its more like Vegas
We called to see if you could check in a bit early due to early arrival to the area. The person who answers say that should be no problem due to the amount of rooms that had ready at that time. So we get there early, no room ready, not a huge deal because they allow you to use the hotel & they hold your bags. Three hours later a room was ready or so we thought. We walked up to 3 different rooms, 1 one only had one bed & we needed two, second one actually had guest in the room (so embarrassing) & the 3rd room was finally a room that fit our needs. System seems to lack a lot of updating, I do not know that I would stay here again.

Paradise in the desert

Fabulous hotel in a beautiful setting. We had a balcony overlooking the pools/lake which was great. The pools were a good size and never busy, and conveniently open till 11p.m for peaceful swimming beneath the stars. The boat trip around the lake was fun too. We'll be returning.

Excellent stay

Pros: Super clean, elegant but lively enough for different age groups to enjoy.
Cons: Self parking should connect directly with hotel and not have to walk outside to connect the two areas.
Location: When staying at this hotel, you don't really have to leave because so much to do and enjoy at the hotel itself.
We had a great stay and give our whole experience an A+

The Mattress was Semi Hard. , the pillows case smell like sweat , the Bathroom shrink wasent draining the water good down the drain. Love the balcony view love the Breakfast buffet :) . Love the pools

There was a pool party at the hotel over the weekend and it was disruptive to those of us who were not participating in the party. The music was so loud that it affected the entire atmosphere of the hotel. For someone looking for a relaxing getaway, this was not the right place. I wish I would have been given notice about the party before I booked my hotel.

JW Marriot Experience

Pros: I enjoyed the main pool area and the friendly staff.
Cons: I was not able to enjoy a work out in your spa facilities because the hours were very short. Longer hours would be better.
Location: We went to some good restaurants in the area.
It was my first time at the hotel. The ambience was great. Nice pool facilities. My room was close to the pool. Parking was easy to find. We enjoyed the small golf course in front of the hotel. The tennis facilities are nice as well.

Is it worth it?

Rooms and grounds aren't that nice. Maybe a 3 star hotel. There are much nicer other options for a better rate. All it has going for itself is the music at pool on saturdays and a few options for food on-site. $9 can of bud light at pool....really?

Tired

There were plastic cups and trash in the pond when we walked up to the main entrance of the resort. Seemed to be the overall theme of the property. I saw bits of trash everywhere I looked. Bed linen had small holes and a small stain. One of our pool towels had a huge hole. The front desk was very friendly just seems like the property has been neglected.
