This is a vacation timeshare. I booked through Hotels.com and it was not disclosed. There were things missing which we really needed which was water. Usually in a hotel you get a couple bottles of water in your room which of course you pay for. We arrived kinda late and by the time we realized we had no water (10:15 p.m on a saturday) the marketplace was closed, all restaurants were closed, no vending machines around. We ran into an engineer who was kind enough to get us some. we felt we truly were in the desert. We were, Palm Desert, California. The gal who checked us in put us in the furthest building on the property nbut neglected to tell us that the closed gate required our room key, so we were driving around confused as to how to find our room. Had to get assistance for this also. All in all for one night it would have been our preference to stay in a regular hotel and not a timeshare property. Hotel.com did not disclose this so beware.
