Yes, we are an 18 room hotel and do not have 24 hour front desk and the office closes at 9 PM. However, we do offer Contact-less check in when our guest inform us if they are going be delayed (flight, traffic, etc).... Yes, we have 2 parking lots. One located directly in front of the hotel same as majority of hotels and the 2nd is at the side of the hotel (both on-site and adjacent to the building); thus, not sure how you found it strange. Ron, not a fair review. A 3 is not a reflection of what we have to offer and seems we met your expectations on what we can control and our value proposition of clean and comfortable and well priced accommodations. We are on site and you could have easily asked for a box of tissue and we would have gladly provided it. Some of our guests feel free to take the box with them after their stays and we are OK with that approach. Also, we have and our efforts of remodeling continues but we want to maintain the charm of our 1950's building and the charm of Palm Springs. We are not Sleek and not for everyone. Highly recommend you book at one of the chain hotels during your next trip where they do offer generic rooms.

Anyone who is reading this, we never wish anyone ill-will and we will not start now. I am one of the co-owners (Paul) of our 18 room hotel and my initial answer to John and his so called mother is that you two are liars. First and foremost, we have and always been a non-smoking non vaping campus thus your comment is false, Second, since we are independently owned, we do not hesitate to kick out anyone who is rude and we would definitely have kicked you out and not accommodated you and given you another room thus your comment is false again. Third, why would you stay with us after you "saw" what the first room looked like and you did not care much for our hospitality and attitude? Yet again, your comments are false. We always live in interesting times and understand our travelers are often stressed. The reasons include: canceled flights, car troubles, getting a divorce, a best friend is sick or recently passed, they hate their job, etc. They travel and stay at a hotel for any number of reasons. We understand this, and we treat people with dignity and respect. And some travelers choose to unleash all of the wrongs in their life on our front desk staff. They decide to bully those who appear to be in a weak position to accept their energy transfer. We have a zero-tolerance policy on bullies and those travelers who choose to take out the aggravation in their lives on our team members. That behavior is unacceptable on every level. As a private business, we reserve the right to refuse service to any person, for any reason, at any time, period. We don’t need the kind of business that genuinely negative people bring. We will provide you with a full refund and kindly send you on your way. We do not wish anyone ill-will and you are not the ones who will make us to start now.

First and foremost, happy to have met your overall expectations. Regarding the pillows, your room had 5 and they are different types because we know pillow experience is subjective. We are an 18 room hotel and dog friendly and we ask all of our guest to let us know if they are bringing a dog so we can ensure they have a dog friendly room (some of our guests are allergic and we have non-dog rooms for them). You arrived with a dog without letting us know ahead of time and thus, we had to switch rooms which you were not happy. Not right to take out your lack of communication on us and give us an OK review. Our dog fee is 25 and very fair and if you did not want to pay the fee, that is not right either. We wish you all the best ahead and perhaps next time, you can book at one of the larger hotels where you can sneak in your dog without paying.

We Refused Service and you did not stay with us!!! Negative people will always be unsatisfied and take out their frustration on staff and other people. We are a small hotel and have the ability not to take abuse from people such as your self and respond by refusing service. Good Luck ahead with trying to continue to push people around.
