Was disappointed in breakfast fare. First day no orange juice, no bananas, no oranges, no yogurt. a couple of bananas and yogurts came out 2nd and 3rd day, but gone very quickly. Scrambled eggs were not good- powdered? Room was okay except thermostat cover fell off and thermostat did not work.

The Residence inn was ideal for our 2 week stay. We loved the fully furnished kitchenvw a dishwasher. Our upstairs golf corse/ mountain views from our very comfortable balcony were excellent. The free hot breakfasts were very good and also very convenient. We especially enjoyed our very friendly morning male host who was especially welcoming.

I’d agree with many other reviewers. The staff were lovely, helpful and welcoming. The facility is worn, tired, and in need of a huge update. The carpets are stained, furniture is worn out and saggy (bed was good though) and the fridge was rattle and noisy. The pool is lovely, the tennis courts would be great but they have no equipment for them. You can use the hot tub in the Courtyard hotel next door. We did mention the many flaws and were willingly given a discount. The free breakfast was great!

I made a reservation to stay overnight at the Palm Desert Residence Inn after attending a Super Bowl party. I called Emily at the reservation desk to check in early and she was very kind and accommodating. Emily stated the room would be ready as soon as I arrived. Upon arrival I met Nell at the reception counter as Emily had went to lunch. The hotel was booked for the weekend. Well was very pleasant, professional and kind. Great customer service. I was given the keys to the room and unlike other Marriott hotels I have stayed in this one, or at least the room I was in was not updated or renovated. The door to the room was in need of repair and the room was visibly well used and not renovated. We did take advantage of the early breakfast the next morning which was a nice amenity. The location is prime and near the frwy, 111 and other popular sites and thoroughfares. Recommended.

2nd time staying here , really enjoy the property… breakfast is good and all around would stay again , quiet with exception of some traffic noise and golfers early morning, but that’s expected being next to the course

Residence Inn Palm Desert offered us a great stay experience. The front office staff, in particular Heather, were courteous and helpful. Likewise kitchen staff in particular Lisa and Alvira were very helpful in providing special vegan meal for us. We appreciate and thank Residence Inn staff.

We had a room at the of the property that faced the mountain, very quiet. Breakfast was very good. Our room could use a little TLC. The doors on the vanity in the bathroom need to be restained. Light cover in the shower had bugs or dirt in it.

The front door was very hard to close. The pull out mattress had a lot of stains. The shower was tough to turn on and shower head was too low. The light bulbs were horrible.

Nice stay in Palm Desert
The Residence INN was great. The room had everything we needed. 2 Minor complaints - the bed mattress was a little dated, and the reception (young man) did not understand or was not trained properly on how to conduct himself. It's becoming commonplace though.
