Small boutique hotel on the water

Posted Jan 30, 2017
Pros: Location, beautiful patio setting on the water.
Cons: Include a desk and chair in the room. Improve time to get food out from the kitchen.
Location: Convenient to very good local restaurants, movie theater, coffee shops. 15 min to El Paseo shopping.
Beautiful setting on the water, great patio with fire pits and heaters overlooking the water. Nice indoor bar and restaurant. Very nice menu selections for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and the food was great, however be prepared to wait quite awhile for the food to come out after ordering. I can only assume they have a small kitchen, maybe not enough cook staff to keep up. Our room was nice with a fireplace and small fridge for your own beverages or snacks. Bed and mattress were great. However, there was no desk so no place to use your computer in the room and no chair to sit and put shoes on. We were able to use a table in the restaurant area at any time of day to sit with our laptops. There was a nice private patio outside our main floor room (there is a second floor so request main floor if you want that convenience). Their location is very convenient to many restaurants (you can walk to Cork and Fork), also close to a movie theater, grocery store, Target etc. No laundry service but there is a laundry close by. No work out facility on property but there is World Gym and others not too far away. All in all we liked it and would return again.

A quaint oasis in La Quinta

Posted Jan 15, 2017
Pros: The friendly staff, modern rooms, pool, lakeside restaurant, views, and location. In-room TV and cable package was great.
Cons: More efficient billing between the hotel and restaurant upon check-out. Parking was a bit confusing in terms of valet vs. self parking.
Location: Golf, shopping, eating, hikes, happy hours.
We enjoyed our 6 day stay in this lovely lakeside Chateau. The staff was friendly and helpful, which goes a long way when travelling with a 9 month old baby. We loved the lakeside tranquility, and had some great meals on the patio when the January weather would allow. It's the perfect sized resort, allowing you to make a connection with the people and place.

It is especially gratifying to hear our staff made a favorable impression for courteous and attentive service, and we are glad you enjoyed our idyllic lakeside ambiance. Please accept our apology for any billing confusion. We will look into our procedures to see if there is a way to streamline the process between the hotel and the restaurant. Lovely place close to the Polo Grounds

Posted Jan 11, 2017
Pros: See above...oh the water views...
Cons: I could have had less of a schedule and more time in my room.
Location: I was at the Polo Grounds all weekend.
Loved the ambience, the staff and the valets. I was frantic looking for my cell phone charger and your staff lent me one for the evening. Truly appreciated the VOSS WATER BOTH PLAIN AND SPARKLING. Nice touch. All was great.

Pros: It has the lake view.
Cons: If you leave open the door to the patio, noise from below the restaurant can be heard in our room.
It was nice a hotel since our room has the lake view. Noises can be heard from the restaurant to our room if we open the patio door.

Boutique hotel in the desert

Posted Dec 1, 2016
Pros: I liked everything about this place
Cons: The only thing, and this is minor, but I couldn't help but think the room smelled like a dentist office. Very stange.
Location: Movie theater and restaurants are in walking distance, as well as a few grocery stores.
I grew up in the desert, and so it was a pleasant surprise to find and stay in such stylish accommodations - I think there are only 24 units in the entire place. We had a fantastic view of the lake, and enjoyed it immensely from the patio as well as through the wonderful French doors in the room. The amenities are fancy, and the pool and hottub were nice with plenty of clean towels. We ended up walking to some nearby restaurants so the location is pretty great, but parking is free and easy. All in all a great place. A+
