Not the usual tranquil oasis!Posted Jul 3, 2015 on Hotels
We frequent Two Bunch for the peaceful, tranquil environment. Unfortunately, many other guests did not adhere to the quiet voice rules. The Grotto is an amazing place to rest and relax except when others talk as if they are staying in a loud resort. Not the peaceful stay we have grown to love. One guest was on Skype for over an hour and talking on his phone the whole time he was at the pool. (On speaker no less) We finally complained to the front desk and someone came out to remind the others about the spa-like peaceful environment that Two Bunch is known for. After she left, they were quiet for a minute and then started talking again. Very rude! The new rooms were nice, but it would have been nice to have the same amenities we had before the renovation. All and all, we won't return unless the rules are enforced. There are plenty of other resorts in much better areas that have a quiet spa environment. Too bad they do not have the uniqueness and charm you find at Two Bunch Palms!

At last a opportunity to stay at the Two Bunch ofPosted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: All of the available facilities, the grounds, hiking trails, labyrinth, the Tai Chi and Yoga classes, the water and towel available at the pool.
Cons: The dishes at the restaurant were puny, 6 blueberries on my oatmeal was not enough for my taste.
Location: I always visit Angel Flight thrift store in DHS. The outlet on the way to DHS both close to the resort.
For too many years I have wanted to stay at this famous/infamous resort and at last I was able to book a mini vacation here. Definitely, it more than met my expectations. The grounds, the gardens and all the facilities were devine. In a relatively short time I expect to revisit and from now on it will be only destination at Desert Hot Springs.

The girlfriend and I very much enjoyed our stay at Two Bunch Palms. Staff was extremely friendly, pools were amazing, Spa & Mud baths were rejuvenating. Would definitely recommend for couples seeking a romantic getaway.

Romantic & RelaxingPosted Jun 2, 2015 on Hotels
Really enjoyed 'Two Bunch Palms'---all of the new renovations to the rooms and restaurant are terrific. We did a Mud bath for 2 which was fun. The bathroom was a little small (we stayed in a Grotto room) otherwise I really loved our room. The hot springs were wonderful. My only (small) complaint is that the grotto area is supposed to be quiet and these 3 women were sitting in the pool yakking up a storm for hours, so that was kind of annoying. The food was delicious at the restaurant, and it was a true 'getaway', two nights is the perfect amount of time for this place. We will definitely be back.

Great resort getaway in Palm Springs.Posted May 29, 2015
Pros: Just about everything.
Cons: The bed was a little too firm for my tastes.
Location: There isn't much to do in the town around the resort from what we saw, but there isn't really any reason to leave the resort.
My wife and I immensely enjoyed our recent stay at the Two Bunch Palms Spa Resort. The grounds are nice and secluded, surrounded by gorgeous views of the mountains. We stayed in one of the original villas off the main grotto area. We were greeted by a tray of gourmet cookies and lemonade when we entered our room, which was just an example of the many little extras the resort offers to fully complete your experience. The mineral water pool in the grotto is extremely relaxing. The pond was probably our favorite area. There are fish and turtles that you can feed that come right up to the edge of the pond. We will definitely be coming back again next year.

Amazing Resort. Not so great room or servicePosted May 27, 2015 on Hotels
The grounds are amazing! Our king grotto room and service were not. The room was older and the bathroom was extremely small. My 6ft 210lb boyfriend could not even move in the tiny shower. Also next to the room was a closet where they keep towels eat. For the maid so we heard people at all times of the night like they were standing next to us in our bathroom. The only thing separating us was our window. There were only 2 unused outlets to plug my phone into. Imagine having to put your new phone above the sink in a tiny bathroom. And the outlets are very old need to be updated because everything you plug in falls out. I was trying to get ready and my curling iron cord kept coming out. The expresso machine would have been great if it worked. Front desk service was not efficient. Upon check in we were not told anything about our included breakfast. The hotel stated "bed & breakfast" on my receipt so I assumed they delivered breakfast to you or you were given a voucher in your room to redeem at restaurant. But nothing. At check out I was told I did have a free breakfast and was suppose to go get it from the restaurant and charge it to my hotel room. It would have been nice to know that information before checking out. We will prob go again because of the amazing grounds but next time stay in another room.
