The room was clean and spacious, had a good rest after travelling from Rotorua. There’s a kitchen in the room which is well equipped.Shops and restaurants are just close by.

Outstanding
I don’t know where to start! Firstly they allowed me to have a parcel sent there weeks before I arrived. Stayed two nights in two separate rooms then booked the family suite for two nights. In stead of us vacating at 10am until getting new room at 2pm they let us stary in our room and then when we wanted to do laundry they offered to do it in their own machine as it is bigger than the guest ones and we had a lot. They then dried it all and delivered it to us back upstairs! Service was fantastic and the hosts are very friendly. Spa baths were great. Everything immaculately clean.

I believe that this property may be being used for emergency accommodation. There were very intimidating looking people staying, and my neighbours had a fight from 2-4am.

Hi Alan - first up, why did you not come & ask us this question & receive the answer before putting your assumption onto a public platform? No we do not or never have, accepted emergency housing bookings, we are not registered with WINZ.I am also disappointed that you did not let us know about the disruption you encountered either while it was happening so we could do something about it (instruction on what to do if you have a noise disturbance are given in several different places) or in morning.Also your comments & assumption are quite a generalisation against those who actually do require emergency housing!

Spacious and comfortable suite with a lovely big spa bath. Ample room to set up our portacot and close walking distance to the mall and shops in general - everything you need within a stroll! Property was just divine and just as the photo shows. Spotless with nothing being too much of an issue. Would recommend this property to anyone and would definitely stay there again. Handy to the Mall, Supermarket and all sorts of eateries close by.

A great stay
The staff were friendly and flexible with my changed check in due flight cancellations, and in assisiting the other person to check in ahead of my arrival. The room was clean, kitchen supplied sufficiently to cook and a nice big spa bath. The motel is located a short walk to the city centre with easy access to a variety of shops and hospitality.

Motel was clean on arrival. As we walked upstairs the floors were creaking and quite noisey for us and the neighbors. Planned to stay 2 nights, but only needed 1 night as we had a family emergency. A refund wasnt available for us which was very upsetting due to a 'policy'. Policy or not the reception staff held no empathy or care for our situation. No recommendation to stay here! The spa was the only good part. Otherwise pretty crap service and care for the customers needs. Stay clear 👌

Hi Alice, thank you for your feedback, so glad that you enjoyed the spa & your comment about the creaking floorboards is a reminder for me to have a builder come look at this. I'm sorry to hear that you felt that we did not meet your expectations around customer service in this instance, we tried to explain to you at the time why we were unable to provide a refund for your late cancellation. Our cancellation policy is very clear when you book & is standard across the accommodation industry. We also explained that your booking was through Expedia & not direct with us, so we hadn't received payment from them at that stage.

First time staying at the property. I usually stay next door at Cornwall. I have to say, last minute decision to go to Palmerston, I would definitely stay again. Was absolutely clean to my standards, your staff do an amazing job on the rooms, loved the spa a must 😁 Reception were so welcoming. Convenient, can walk to the mall, supermarket. Highly recommend, thanks for an outstanding service.

Was lovely and clean, close to shops Was noisy ( but that is because it is in town) pillows were hard. But had a good choice of drinks, was super clean and easy walking distance to the square.

Aburn Court Motel
We found the motel brilliant, spotlessly clean with a lovely fresh scent upon entering the room. The spa tub was wonderful on sore joints. The king size bed extremely comfortable. Kitchenette well appointed to make a weekend away on a budget as can cook meals for yourself. Staff were very friendly helpful and polite. It was no problem to have our room swapped for a downstairs room as that suited Mobility issues better. We highly recommend this motel .
