close to city centre

Stone throw away from the square, but a nice quiet room to relax in. Wonderful staff that made late check-in and check-out very pleasant and simple.

Lovely view of square

Posted Oct 25, 2017
Staff really make this place. Needed an extra blanket on the bed, but that's all. Watching the lights change in the square as the sun went down behind them was just beautiful.

Pros: very quiet, great value
Cons: softer bed, extraction inbathroom
Location: restaurants, supermarket, bottle shop and loads of shopping
Bed was hard, no extraction in bathroom, basement parking designed for SMALL cars only. Staff friendly, very clean and quiet. Great location, easy walk to everything. Would go again but park my big car outside

Stayed in Quest Properties before

Posted Jun 28, 2017
Pros: Central location
Cons: Regular maintenance checks to ensure lights work, more blankets available, instructions on operating appliances\heat available
Location: Palmerston North square, cafe, shopping
Was in Palmerston North for business, while a great location the overall condition of the property was very disappointing. Got the feeling that not all that much was being done to keep the property maintained, little things like bed-side lamp not working, no instructions on how to operate the air con/heat-pump and only 1 blanket provided, was a cold few nights. Beware of the parking, parked outside, and could see that parking spaces had been re-painted to allow more cars to be able park off the street, am surprise that car was not damaged given the lack of room between cars.

Loud aircon

Posted Jun 26, 2017 on Wotif
Pros: Comfort of room and facilities.
Cons: Loud antiquated air conditioning units outside room window.
Good hotel and facilities, I stayed on business for 2 nights, however on the first night was unable to sleep at all due to extremely loud air conditioning units outside widow, sounded like a jet plane throughout the night. Hotel staff helpful and understanding and moved me to another room for second night which was perfect.

Right in the city

Posted Jun 26, 2017 on Wotif
Pros: The price
Cons: Parking being paid for needed to be on the web booking or perhaps I missed it.
Location: Special Olympics basketball tournament.
Easy access via intercom Slightly noisey from the busy street below but was the weekend of the first lions test so quieten down later on very quiet in the morning
