Near Caltrain and Stanford

Posted Oct 12, 2017
Pros: Very nice decor without being ostentatious. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Cleaning staff made quite a bit of noise in the morning, woke me up.
Location: Walk to Caltrain, across the street from Stanford, short walk to the center of town with restaurants.
Nice, self park, no extra charge. The room was clean spacious, good internet.

Stay away from elevator. Make sure when making reservation. Very noisy 24 hrs a day.

Surprisingly worthwhile at the room rate. Condition of facilities is better than more expensive ones in the area

quick Stay

Posted Sep 4, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: More parking spaces
Location: Well, there is Stanford and all the things Stanford-related you can do.
Just a quick one-night stay to pick up our daughter from Stanford. There is no hotel closer to Sanford than this one, literally at the front door. There is a $18.00/day parking fee which is OK if not for their small parking lot. There are just not enough parking spaces to compare with the number of hotel rooms. You do the math. Then drive around and around looking for a space to park.

Oldish but well maintained

Posted Sep 4, 2017
Old property. Rooms around the pool get lots of noise from the pool. Pool is small. Property is well maintained. Very large television with Direct tv, not the shabby slow tv programming one sees at most hotels. very close to three major and unique retail areas - quaint Palo Alto downtown, open modern Stanford mall, and retail center with traditional design.

Convenient location in Palo Alto

Posted Aug 28, 2017
The hotel in itself is clean and convenient to Palo Alto surroundings however first impressions are everything and the front desk gave horrible service. Ended up booking through Expedia to get a much better rate than the front desk staff was willing to offer. Also took over two hours to have a crib removed from my room.

Nice hotel, close to campus and shopping

Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing!
We were attending a horse show in Woodside, and the hotel was conveniently located and allowed us to bring our dog! The breakfast was yummy, and reasonably priced.
