"Our family of 12 had an amazing stay! The house is absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we could have needed. We spent most of our time relaxing on the screened-in porch enjoying the incredible ocean views.The kitchen was one of the best-stocked we’ve ever seen, and we really appreciated all of the beach gear, chairs, toys, and wagon that were available. The huge DVD collection was also a lifesaver during the tropical storm while our kids were stuck inside.The host was fantastic. Communication was excellent from start to finish, with quick responses and helpful information that made our stay even easier.The location is definitely secluded, which was exactly what we were looking for. We highly recommend The Salty Donkey and Angelo’s for eating out, and My Way Seafood Market for fresh seafood to cook at the house."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beachfront home! Being just steps from the Gulf made our vacation so relaxing and enjoyable. The covered porches and easy beach access were perfect. There was no need to haul heavy beach chairs or wrestle with umbrellas—just walk out the door and everything you need is right there.The outdoor shower and separate foot-rinse hose were thoughtful touches that made it easy to clean up after a day on the beach before heading inside.The home itself was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities you would expect in your own home. The air conditioning kept the house cool even on the hottest days, and the shower had excellent water pressure, which was much appreciated after spending time in the sun.One of our favorite things about this property was its location on the east end of Alligator Point. Situated on the quiet, dead-end section of the road, it was peaceful and felt very private. It was the perfect place to take our dog for walks without worrying about traffic.If you’re looking for a relaxing beachfront getaway with unbeatable access to the Gulf and a peaceful setting, we would highly recommend this home"

"The house was perfect for our family, especially my mom who has trouble walking. The elevator worked perfectly, the boardwalk was short and close to the ocean. She and my dad loved sitting on the deck and watching us all on the beach. Communication was great, including updates on the tropical storm. We would definitely recommend this rental. We hope to stay again!"

"Shifting Sands is the perfect location for anyone who loves the beach, fishing in the ocean, and solitude. It is located right on the beach, which almost always had less than ten other people, and we were usually the only ones there. It is perfect for walking the beach, sitting in a chair with a book, or fishing. The house itself is amazing. Bedrooms were perfect for our family of 5, with a large sitting room that has windows along the entire wall giving a panoramic view of the ocean and dolphins playing in the water. The house has amazing ocean views from all bedrooms, and the kitchen (as soon as you walk in the house) as well. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. The host is very responsive to messages. We loved our trip and hope to come back!"
