Lake Atitlan front, 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment. 1200 square feet of living space, will accommodate up to 6 people. Apartment is located in the owner’s tower of La Riviera de Atitlan Resort. Two private elevators to go up and down from the lobby. Resort offers amenities such as heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, as well as access to the lake. Also offered is restaurant with catering to your front door. The apartment has a beautiful panoramic view to the gardens, pool, lake and volcanos. It’s a 5 minute walk away from attractions such as Xtreme Zipline and a butterfly sanctuary, and a 10 minute walk from town along a protected nature reserve path. Private deck offered in front of Resort on Lake Atitlan for boat boarding. Moto taxi pickups and drops to and from town for one dollar. Don’t settle for less.. don’t pay for one room when you can have a Resort for the same price as a small suite in an old or faraway hotel. Ok

Property was nice for what it was amazing view. However the owner can quicky turn violent. I simply askes why an extra night cost so much as it as more than double the price for one night, instead of a answer the response was verbal abused and ended with me getting threatened and i was kicked out the apartment with only 1 night out of the 5 nights originally booked.

Property location very nice. La Rivera de Atitlan, MISLEADING, NO ACCESS TO SAUNA, BOAT RENTAL ONLY PASSES FOR HOTEL GUESTS. They did not provide clean towels and towels provided stank badly, DEAD ROACHES ON BED COVERS, very dusty, no WIFI, no laundry, the shower knob did not work,

I really appreciated that the administrator accommodated check-in time for us for a time later than listed and her quick replies to inquiries. Throughout our stay, we discovered a number of disappointing issues and realized this place is poorly maintained. Even though the listing says that the unit comes with a washer and a dryer, it really doesn’t. I had to show the administrator the Vrbo listing for her to grant me access to the stackable washer/dryer that takes 4 times the time you expect to dry a load of clothes There was no light bulb in the kitchen. We borrowed a light bulb from one of the bedroom lamps, which smoked when we turned it on. Another used bulb was quickly provided when I asked for a replacement bulb though. First Vrbo property that we have stayed at and does not provide basic toiletries. You need to bring your own shampoo AND extra toilet paper. It did not have coffee or sugar or any drinking water. The place does not have hot water. It has some electric heaters in both showers. The master bedroom shower has colder than lukewarm water and you cannot use the second shower at all. The lever to close the bottom faucet is broken. The description mentions $1 rides to town. We paid Q10 per person per ride which makes it a about $2.75 every ride. The furniture is not comfortable. One of the bed spreads had holes in it and some pillow casas are ragged. One of the counter tiles fell on the floor when I pulled my purse.

Room was full of bugs everywhere, shower heads kept falling apart every time you took one, toilets needed to be flushed in order to get rid of waist no screens on windows for ventilation so you can’t open windows or else bugs would come in. Place needs to be taken care of and have candles as there was a power outage when we arrived, text owner and he suggested for us to to the lake and look at the stars really! Very disappointed
