Nice hotel close to the beach

On the beach. Great view.

Came during hurricane irma. Hotel was safe and helpful. Did not get a chance to use the many amenities. Had problem with drain in bathtub. Came with well equipped kitchen. Very nice

Close to beach; condo and furniture need upgrading

Enjoyed condo complex, beach, and restaurant. Pools were nice and beach view was good. Needed new BR carpet and LR furniture in condo. Kitchen was stocked well and everything worked well...

The most horrible experience ever.

I will never ever return here. Staff is rude. I spoke with them on the phone twice before checking in and they never mentioned about extra hotel fees. On top of that we didn't receive the villa that we reserved and no one was ever willing to cooperate to make our experience better. We understand that Expedia kind of scammed us but hotel staff should be more condescending when situations like this occurs. They were rude and shady. Even the person who checked me in asked me if I spoke with someone from Expedia in English or in a foreign language because she assumed I was foreigner for my accent, how disrespectful. Even when we realized that Expedia didn't clarify about the extra hotel fees the front desk agent kept focusing making it look that there was a language barrier, that's discrimination, you can't assume someone don't speak/understand English just for hearing a person's accent. Regarding the fees, she said we were paying for parking and cleaning when over the phone they said parking was included (Expedia & the hotel agents said this) they also lied about the hotel location, they said they were just a few steps from the beach and it wasn't this way. However with the cleaning fee, they never clarified that mentioned fee was charged to get the room cleaned after the villa is left, how stupid, how are you supposed to stay in a place without cleaning it for 4 days? Yes regular daily cleaning wasn't included in the fee paid when checking. Beyond disrespectful & shady.

Mother & daughter & friend Trip

Pros: Easy access. Spectacular View of the Panama City Beach! The condo that we rented was decorated so nice. The sound of the waves were so relaxing.
Cons: Towels at the pool area.
Location: Location was great. Very close to souvenir shops and restaurants.
Edgewater was fantastic! Our view was awesome, over the pool/ocean. We came for my daughter's roommate's wedding. Weather was perfect. We rented chairs and umbrella, super relaxing!! The ocean is a beautiful blue/teal color. The only problem that we had was the biting flies (wedding was at State Park). I will definitely refer my friends & clients to Edgewater Beach Resort.

not a fan edge water Expedia.

Pros: didn't check in.
Cons: get rid of hidden charges.
They added fees before I even checked in on top of the money I was charged on line by Expedia and although they are a beach front hotel our room was acrose the road and about three blokes away but I could up grade for another fee.per nite. no thankes Capt. Jerry Hogan
