The property was nice. It was clean for the most part. There was a swim suit left ont the back of one of the doors and crumbs on the fold out sofa bed. Other than that it was cleaned. The view is amazing and the master bath tub is a treat, however the hot water doesn't get very hot and only last a few mins. So when the family has to take turns to shower we had to wait in between for the water get back hot. That was annoying. My biggest problem was Expedia advertising this property check out time as 10AM only to get the contract and it was 9AM. The company blamed me for booking through Expedia and told me to let you all know. So Expedia you need to update any policies for rentals according to their current policy or you will continue to see complaints about false advertising. I wont be staying here again because that hour really matters when you have family of 7 with young kids.

Perfect vacay!

The master room bed base was broken ,so mattres not even we couldn’t sleep on it . We had to sleep on the couch . I paid 1500$ to sleep on the couch . I was unloading then I didn’t know I saw ticket wrong parking if you don’t move your car we tow .i move it parked it across the street . There was one guy work there wasn’t friendly.End of the day we had good time with my family .

Let’s start with the bad - the entire check in process. We received information from our booking confirmation that we would need to check in at Edgewater Resort because Grabdview East doesn’t have a front desk. Ok, no problem - except after waiting in line at Edgewater for 45 minutes to get up to the counter to be told we couldn’t check in there but at a different resort down the street - The Majestic. Get to the Majestic at 330pm - check in is set for 4pm. We were not able to check in until 8pm due to housekeeping and inspections of the condo we rented - FOUR HOURS of waiting to check into the property. Other than the initial terrible check in the property itself was fantastic and we would stay here again. The pool is shaded all day and the location of this property on the beach was spectacular! Our condo was clean and had everything we needed.

I love the location and how quiet it is. I’ve stayed with them over 15-20 times in the past 7 years and my most recent visit was great but my condo was disgusting upon arrival.! Condo 1504 needs to be bombed for roaches and ants. And the cleaning crew needs to be checked behind.! Upon arrival there were large hair balls under the counter in the master bathroom, the bathtub was disgusting and there was hair floating in the toilet.! The shower caddy was rusted the floors had sand all over them and there were black streaks on the floor in the master bathroom. We had to purchase our own cleaning supplies(broom/dustpan, mop, Clorox)and clean for OUR LIVES.!! On top of having to pay for a cleaning Fee.! HA.! Who’s going to pay us?! I love Grandview but Resort Collection by Grandview is going to have to do better AS THEY ARE EACH INDIVIDUALLY OWNED.!!! I booked thru orbitz but thru RESORT COLLECTION.!!

1. Room wasn’t ready until 8:30pm, yet promised 4-5. 2. Washing was broken 3. Garbage disposal was broken 4. Most of the furniture was broken 5. Room was dirty & smelled like smoke and greasy food 6. Parking was across a very busy road & you took your own lives in your hands crossing. 7. It was under construction, so you got to walk through mud to get to your car! 8. The nicest thing about the place were the kind security guards!

Complete disappointment. Very dirty. No property manager. Two televisions didn’t work. One toilet didn’t flush. Had to check in at a different property and pay over 400 in additional fees. Car got towed even though I paid an additional 25 parking fee and had had a pass. Tow company said they were in on a scam with Resort Collection to make money.

A quick trip to PCB
The most imprtant thing to me when this reservation was made was the view. This building delivers. Great Views! The furnishings and especially the mattresses have seen better days but the view was stellar. Keep in mind that this building does not have a parking deck or pedestrian bridge over 98. Staff was friendly. You have to remember check-in off site. Did I mention the view?!

Don’t book here unless you ask about fees
The place was nice, but the homeaway receipt I received did not state any further fees were owed. At checkin the very inept front desk agent informed me of a further $230 in resort fees. I understood that when you book on homeaway, you were paid up. Don’t trust this lie of an establishment.

Fabulous Stay
The stay at Grandciew was a delightful experience. We loved the accommodations. The only issue that we experienced was the ongoing construction that presented a safety hazard. With the parking lot across the street from the Grandview, we always felt in danger of getting run over by passing vehicles due to the sidewalks being covered with construction materials. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The parking was terrible we were told that we couldn't Park under the building that was only for handicapped so we had two Orange passes for across the street and then we had one of us to park down the street at a parking area. We had to pregnant ladies and older woman in her late 70s two kids under 6 not counting other things. But that is a big downfall. The place was nice though besides that

We had a great experience. The only complaint we had was being told we were not allowed to lounge on the beach chairs by some random beach worker. Later we found out from the desk staff that it was included in our rental. We had two toddlers with us and being told that greatly affected our beach time.

Ouch, my aching back!
We loved everything about our room EXCEPT the bed in the guest bedroom. The mattress was in dire need of being replaced. We loved the balcony, the living area and the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped. The master bedroom was lovely and master bathroom was amazing. The unit was very clean, nicely furnished and decorated and we could not have asked for more EXCEPT the mattress in the guest bedroom. It might work for young, small children but not suitable for adults.

Not professional people working there, furniture had stains all over, pool is very small, have to wait long time on elevators, I will never stay here again and will discourage people to do so. For $500 a night we could stay in much more nicer place. Waste of money!!

Location, view and space were wonderdul! The few things that needed fixing were fixed right away. Our dryer did not work which hated because we needed to wash towels and stuff. I thought it would have some basic things like a mop, salt, sponge to wash dishes but didn't. The pool is under shade so it was always cold, its small. The elevator was a pain, always a long wait or it didn't work. Parking fee amd parking was across the street, area under construction. Only a few things were inconvienient but overall a good stay. I would want to try other hotels around.

Looked through several bookings that had a jetted tub / in room hot tub, for our anniversary. We decided on this place. We arrived on Wednesday and did several things around town. On Saturday the day of our anniversary I went and picked up things for the Jetted tub. Rose petals, smell goods and all that. Fill the tub up and BOOM the jets don't work. Heck the button wasn't even there. Needless to say we are not happy at all. If your going to advertise it then it had better be there.

Great access to the beach
The check in process should've been explained during booking. We were given the address to the room and drove to that location. We found out from the pool maintenance person that we had to check in a block from where the room was actually located. This was inconvenient. Other than this minor inconvenience, the condo was very nice and we had an excellent view of the beach.

Grandview East - Panama City Beach
Staying at the Grandview East was what we expected at a Panama City Beach condo. We had a 3BR unit which was spacious and a generous size balcony. The balcony furniture could use updating: wicker chairs with dirty cushions, a couple of flimsy plastic chairs, and a lounger. Inside the condo was okay except two of the bedrooms had broken door locks, a broken lamp in the living room (maintenance did come out and fix these items promptly), also the washing machine was extremely noisy, the dryer took a loooong... time to dry clothes. Other than that everything was okay. The check-in process was not explained so here it is: before 5:PM EST you check-in at the Longbeach Resort (office), after hours checkin is at the Majestic which is only a short walk from Grandview East. It would have nice to know this prior to arrival. Parking is limited across the street from the resort while a multi story parking garage and retail shops are in the works.

The unit was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The location was excellent and we loved having beach service. Only complaint is the pool was very small, the parking was difficult and the stairwell was stuffy and not open air.

I rent 3 Bedroom but only 2 bathrooms which they call deluxe........with bad condition + 3 rd bedroom is small and twice as the laundry room + Broken Sofa bed + Broken storm or net door (when we slide the net to have fresh air, it's fell off. ...call maintenance to fix but later still problem) + Spa tub did work. + Pool is cold and dirty; construction pain is still on chair; chairs are old and .... + No staffs around that you can ask for help + Parking space is too small; too dangerous to cross the street for additional parking.. I don't know what else that i can list...Overall....i don't think i will go back until it's improved.

Blind sided, when we arrived...
I thought that we had saved money using Expedia - wrong. Attempted to find out which unit, floor and room(s) configuration prior to arrival. Expedia could not provide any information. Upon arrive discovered that condo was under renovation, with limited parking and blocked entrance. In addition to the $1,021.68 collected by Expedia at the time of confirmation. We were hit with an additional $225.00 in "junk fees" at check-in...Grandview East was once a nice property, but currently in decline. Once the renovation is complete, hopefully it will be a premier condo again. However, we received no consideration for the inconvenience or noise from the construction. ;-(

Beware, don't fall for the advertised pictures.
To start things off don't expect anything like the pictures, all of the rooms are outdated with very beat up and damaged furniture. We changed rooms 3 times because they were all so bad, very nasty walls that need to be painted, cracked tiles, ancient fixtures, old school tv's and not very clean. When you arrive you immediately start the goose egg hunt, they say check in is at the majestic, you go there and they send you somewhere else a mile away. Parking is horrible, there were times where we had to pay for parking at the garage because they didn't have enough spaces. The whole strip area was ghetto, actually the whole city is pretty bad. Save your money and go somewhere else.

BAD START, OVERALL EXCELLENT TRIP
We checked into the condo unit quite quickly. Immediately we had issues with Unit#502. Upon arrival into the building, we could smell the distinct aroma of the garbage chute. Unit#502 required much work. This unit had dirty sheets on the beds and one of the quilts was in poor condition. We were not happy with this Unit, so we took pictures and presented all of our findings to the receptionist & she quickly and professionally changed us to Unit#1005. This unit was in better condition than the prior. The only other problem that we experienced was that instead of paying THE AGREED UPON EXTRA for cleaning & registration fees, that fee was actually HIGHER upon checking in with the receptionist ... It's obvious that the additional fees were not spent on Unit#502! Overall, we had an excellent time. We've stayed at the Grandview many times in the past and we look forward to staying at the Grandview in the future.

A little short of expectations.
Well lets just say we started this trip out on the wrong foot.... Arrived at the Condo in a heavy heavy downpour so was pretty infuriated to find out after getting drenched that check in was off site....no onsite office at all. So we call the number on our reservation form to get directions of where we need to go and go down there to get the information. We get there and get out and get soaked again and then find out that the amount we were told that we would have to pay upon check in had somehow increased $45 dollars AND we would have to pay for a second parking pass and the third vehicle would have to park in a daily parking area located in another area (we rented a 3 bedroom at that). We get back to the condo to find that all parking except for owners in across the road anyway. We get up to the room to change out of our wet clothes and into others to go eat and discover there is an ironing board and no iron. We call customer service to inform them and get an answering machine instructing us to leave a message in which we did and we never heard from anyone. The room was clean and spacious and decorated tastefully. The balcony offered spaciousness but one of the 2 chairs on the balcony was broken.
