Nice hotel, close to the beach

Very nice beach front hotel, beautiful views. That's what we loved, and the clean and nice pools. The staff very nice, friendly, helpful and professional. I would love to give a special THANK YOU to the Security Department there. They were very professional and helpful to us. Only one thing I would change, the room. It was a little dated. We were grateful that we were here and not in the middle of the Hurricane Irma, we had to evacuate. We did not complain about the microwave being all rusted and gross inside or the refrigerator being all molded on the outside. However, I would come back and recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Please read below before staying

The condo was extremely outdated, lamps throughout the condo didn't work. The carpets in the bedrooms had a very stale smell, visibly dirty and my family did not feel comfortable walking on them with bare feet. The furniture had old cigarette burn marks. The garbage disposal stunk horribly. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and felt like you were laying on concrete. There was a hole in top of the ceiling by the patio door. Having said all that the view of the ocean was GORGEOUS! The pools, beach access, playground and tiki bar were amazing and made staying there tolerable.

Dirty and Outdated, Ripped off by Fees

Check in after 8pm requires you to go to another hotel 2 miles away as there are no staff on site at the Summit. You will then be informed that you have to pay an additional $49 fee per day for the resort and a standard cleaning fee of $100plus for the room regardless of length of stay. we had only booked 1 night for a quick road trip stay so you can imagine our surprise. Staff will argue with you that's it's in their policy but you only get a copy of that after you have booked and paid for your room. Room, we had 1 bedroom, was very outdated and old, kitchen cabinets are crumbling and dirty, dust and grime everywhere, my kids begged me to let them sleep in the car. Frequent traveler and this is one of the worst I've come across.

Never will return

Pros: The staff was the best part of the complex
Cons: Tear it down and rebuild.
Location: Not really impressed with Panama City
This unit was out dated (1960). Furniture was NASTY. The room was in need of a lot of repair. This was the worst night stay ever!!

Beach birthday

We came down for my 49th birthday, had an excellent time the summit staff were very nice and helpful, the facilities were clean, we love it here at the summit in pcb already planning to come back next year .
