Pros: Breakfast was good. Kitchen Staff was very friendly.
There was dried nasal discharge on my sheets when I turned down the bed. The other bed's sheets were covered with hair. The mattress were not comfortable.

Nice room but I had higher hopes for the price.

Upon check-in the front desk clerk was very nice, the lobby was clean and looked like a nice place to stay. The room was nice and we had a suite that met our needs. The housekeeping was not the greatest. The first day we told her she didnt have to worry about our room, we just needed new towels and washclothes. She only left us towels. The next day we asked her to clean the room as we had been to the beach and had sand on the floors. We came back at 230 to find she had been there to take our dirty towels but didn't leave us any, didnt clean the room or take out the trash. So I emptied the 3 overflowing trash cans and then went to the front desk asking for towels, she said she would contact housekeeping. When she came to our room I told her what i needed she said that she saw that. I asked if I could use her broom to sweep the sand, she stated I could vacuum it instead. She brought me the vacuum. Then she brought 3 towels with wash clothes. I asked for more since that was not enough. She never brought them and we had to go to the front desk to get what we needed. Then breakfast is from 6-930. We planned to be ready to have our vehicle packed by 6 so we could have breakfast and begin our trip home. When we went to the lobby at 6 we were told breakfast wouldn't be ready for another 15 min. So we left. For the money paid, I had higher expectations.

Not A Typical Carlson Property

Pros: The staff was friendly considering the complaints. The management needs to work on their appearance. A scarf over a man's tee shirt is distasteful!!
Cons: the property ... the smell on the first floor hallways is offensive.
Location: It's Panama City and the Beach.... enough said
At the start, I arrived at 3:45 for my reservation and the room was not ready... They switched to another suite. The room needs a serious remodel job. It was hot and humid in Panama City and our room temp never got under 76... The vanity in the bathroom had been remodeled and was not large enough for one person... the king size sofa bed was actually a queen and should have been replaced years ago. The cushions were split on the corners and the mattress was horrible.... did I mention I had to go to the front desk and get sheets for it. One of the two TV's did not work properly and the remote had the batteries taped in it. And, fix the cigarette burns in the carpet by the bed in a non-smoking room. I paid for creature comfort and got a motel of less than economy value.

The desk clerk had wasted coffee on her shirt and we put it in the washer. All of our sofa beds are queen size. I apologize that the sheets to the sofa bed was not in the bed bag. not clean bef

We check the bed and was not clean and had few blood stain. We call the manage and he came show us another room and we was not happy. We did not stay at this hotel. We stay other hotel, La Quinta Inn & Suites Panama City 1030 East 23rd Street Panama City Florida. We did not get the money back from Country Inn and the hotel staf said we had go to Expedia agent to get our money. I paid for Country Inn and my youngest son paid for La Quinta Inn. The La Quinta Inn is so much better to stay the night and bed is very clean then Country Inn. What can I do to get my money back?

like/ hate relationship

The staff was extra friendly. There were very helpful and made us feel welcomed. The rooms on the other hand did not meet our expectations. The beds had too much hair on them, and one bed had what looked like a shoe print. We informed front desk and they immediately changed our room. This room was much nicer BUT the shower was dirty...I mean like dirt sitting the wall with dead skin and hair in it type of dirty. We didn't bother complaining because we didn't want to wear out our welcome. This hotel is also not very close to the activities. Then right before we were ready to check out, we finally found the microwave and refrigerator hiding inside the cabinet on the dresser WHERE NOONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD LOOK!!!!!!. There was plenty of room on top of the dresser, so I couldn't understand why they choose to hide it inside the dresser.

Noisy Hotel

Noisy hotel. The pipes or some pump was making loud repetitive noises all night. You could hear it in multiple rooms. The front desk wasn't at the desk often to check in or answer calls. Front desk refused to bring a wash cloth to the room. I had to go get it.

The desk clerk sends their apologize for that and that they were unable to bring the washcloth to your room at the time that you called. Family visit

We were visiting family in the area. Hotel was convenient. It was cool and comfortable. We were only there for 2 nights. The second day we noticed the coffee maker had old coffee filter with coffee that hadn't been cleaned and we'd never used it. There were a couple of sticky places on the carpet which really freaked me out. The water in the toilet tank was hot water, which I've never seen before. I'm not sure if they know that or not. Anyway, it was a decent hotel at a decent price and we would probably stay there again.
