Better Options Available

I took this facility because of the hotel and air fare available at the time. At check in I was told that a room upgrade was available They did not explain other than to say it was a better. I was then told that breakfast was not included, when I thought I had selected it,?$15 a day extra, also told that wifi was an extra $5.00 per day in your room, available free in lobby and on pool level. I did not feel relaxed at this property, I felt the staff were watching guests. for any infraction of the rules. I had paid for breakfast, it was like going through immigration to be checked in before you could eat. The food was the same every morning and horrible. who eats stewed vegtables in the mornings, not worth $15. per day. Staff seemed very concerned on visitors to the rooms. I had a guest visit me in of my room. He lost his wallet in the lobby. He used the computer / internet in my room for 30 minutes in my room to cancel credit cards. Staff called me on phone. In speaking with staff, I was told that although I had booked the king suite and paid $132 extra for the upgraded suite, food and wifi, only one person could be in room and he had to leave within 15 minutes. Never use Expedia or Doubletree again.

Restaurant and Desk Personnel Need Training.

Location: Location is ok. Several good restaurants within walking distance but a little pricey.
Stayed in the hotel for 8 days. Rooms clean. Free english newspaper in the lobby. Not a Hilton Dream Bed. Very good Gym. Pool disappointing. No Concierge and front desk refers inquiries to an outside travel company that has a small desk in the lobby and they try to help but very limited. No one picks up the phone in this hotel at the front desk. This hotel seems not to cater to business travelers. Breakfast is not good. Go down the street to the diner.

Always know what I get when I stay here....really comfy beds, premium linens, clean room with a great breakfuss and the metro is just around the corner.....four 🌟

Nice hotel close to the city

Location: Close to the city you can go for shoppíng

Family Trip

Pros: everything!
Cons: only thing i would recommend is to have the top terrace pool area Bar opened since it was closed so we had to call room service to deliver the drinks
Location: great location and lots of things to do in the sorroundings
we were looking for a place to stay in Down Town Panama City for 2 days 1 night so we can escape from the routine and relax without leaving the city so we went to this Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, the staff service was great, rooms were very comfortable and spacious with luxury decoration, the pool and Gym were just great, the food at the restaurant was good, specially breakfast! the location was great for us because just steps away we had restaurants, casinos and Panama City Bay was just 10 minutes walking time. the views from the top terrace were amazing so we had a great time!

Nice hotel

Very welcoming, nice bed, comfortable. Felt rushed on check out, around 0930 began getting knocks on door to check mini bar. This happened 4 or 5 times before the 12 o'clock check out time.

It was so great. It is so close to the subway station, with a great view of the curch. Something difficult is to try to get some typical food.
