My husband and I took our adult kids and their friends for the week. There were 7 of us and there was plenty of room. The house is exactly as listed. The beds were very comfortable and I'm pretty particular when it comes to that. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed. We cooked several meals and had all of the pots, pans, etc that we needed. The only thing we were missing was washclothes and dish clothes. There were none in the hoise at all. In addition, more towels woild have been nice. This is more of a suggestion than a complaint though. We had a great week! It is a charming cottage with the perfect layout and had everything we needed. We loved the location - it is steps away from a very nice pool. We also loved sitting on the porch with coffee every morning and returning from the beach to the porch to hose off our things and unwind there. The kids loved the trees out back and watching squirrels and “exploring”. The walk to the beach was literally a few easy minutes walk, and we loved that we could easily bike or walk to alys and rosemary! It was so easy to hop between the house, beach and pool. House had great beach toys, lots of books and puzzles. Would definitely recommend this spot to families with young children. The house was clean and had everything we could think of needing for our trip. The back porch was a dreamy spot to relax, especially on rainy days. The pool was within steps of our back porch, but still felt secluded. Plenty of beach toys, beach chairs, kids activities, and books. A short 5 minute walk to the beach put the icing on the cake. Private beach was beautiful and there was plenty of room for everyone. If we come back to the area, this will definitely be a repeat stay for my family. You are close to all things on 30A by a short car ride or bike ride. It accommodated our 6 guests nicely for the short time. It was a close walk to the beach. The beach was also very quiet and not crowded which was very nice. It would have been nice to have bikes included but the owner gave us all the info on how to rent. The cottage is SO cute, comfortable, and functional—the pictures don’t do it enough justice! We had plenty of room for our family. The home was clean on arrival and everything was in good working order. Pride in ownership is apparent. Paula has thoughtfully outfitted the property with everything a vacationing family could need, from kitchenware to beach essentials. My kiddos loved the selection of books and games, and as the mom I especially appreciated the abundance of wall hooks throughout for wet towels and bathing suits. The location is super convenient. The walk to the beach was easy, and it was short bike ride to an abundance of restaurants and shops along 30A. We thoroughly enjoyed having a sizable shaded outdoor space with a grill and furniture. Even on a scorching week, we spent much time on the covered porch enjoying morning coffee, evening cookouts, and listening to the soothing white noise of sun showers hitting the tin roof. The property is ideally situated close to the community’s pool complex. It’s a very short walk, yet far enough away that you wouldn’t hear any noise from other guests. The pool is much larger than it appears in photos and was never crowded even though we were here during a busy July 4 week. Paula and the management company were very helpful and always quick to respond to any questions. We had a wonderful experience, made many great memories for a lifetime, and would absolutely book again. It's in a great location for the many great neighborhoods and activities along 30A and the private beach is the icing on the cake. Do yourself a favor and rent bikes so that you can explore all that this area has to offer. Why rent one of the massive houses when Good Life has everything you need right here? Should you encounter some Florida rain, the owner has plenty of games for you to play while you wait for the sunshine to return. Never having been to 30A, finding the perfect place to stay was a little overwhelming. I spent a lot of time researching and waiting to find the perfect place that combined location, amenities, and price point, and I eventually found this house within the Cottages at Camp Creek. I have never been so happy to wait for something in my life. This house had it all. It’s close to the beach (and really all the places on 30A), has an excellent pool, and is stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place, and when we visit 30A in the future, we’d probably stay here again. I also want to highlight the owner, Paula. Paula was always extremely quick to answer my questions leading up to our stay. She was very thorough and thoughtful with the responses providing great recommendations and information every time. She was so accommodating and friendly. I really can’t say enough about her. I wish all Vrbo owners could be like Paula. My only complaint is this - one of the big reasons I had booked the house was for the hot tub. The hot tub was not in service when we were there (it happens), but there was no information about this. I called the property management company (Southern Vacation Rentals runs it). They had no answer, but the nice lady who I spoke with said she’d call me back after contacting the HOA. I never heard back and the hot tub was never fixed. Paula’s place was perfect for our family vacation! Super convenient to the beach and surrounding areas. Very clean place, and comfortable beds! It is noted in the listing that they will provide a 24-hour worth of necessities, but might be worth packing an extra roll of toilet paper or two, a couple more dishwasher tablets, & some laundry detergent if you plan on doing laundry while there. Paula happened to be staying next door in their other cottage, Key Lime, while we were there and was very gracious to drop off some hand and dish soap that had been suggested to have by their last guest. The cottage is well stocked and nicely furnished, but could use a bottle of hand soap at the kitchen sink. The 9:00 check out is earlier than most places where we have stayed while traveling over the years. Access to the beach was across the street and down a few houses.
