Hidden charges, Room in bad repair!

When my husband and I checked in, we were hit with an additional $149. They blamed it on booking with Expedia instead of booking direct with them. Either we paid or find other accommodations. We stayed. When we checked into the room, the carpet was dirty with stains, fraying in the kitchenette area where they carpet nails were exposed, and the bathroom walls needed serious painting. The molding throughout needed painting as well.
The mattress was NOT firm and very uncomfortable for us.
The view of the beach was great, the facility was as clean as they could get it, the staff was helpful, and the movies were free which was a nice amenity.
We will not be staying there again.
