Needs renovation

Posted Feb 5, 2018
Renovation and maintenance to the building furniture, sealing and walls. Outdoor activities make the balance to have a nice stay here. Good menu for dinner and sunday BBQ brunch. I didnt like the breakfast, cheap food.

Peaceful during the week. Brilliant location

Posted Jan 30, 2018
Brilliant hotel. On the top of a hill, with Nature all around. Super location possible in Panama City. Safe, friendly, and easy access thanks to the proximity to the Canal and the Highway (and Bridge). 45 Minutes to the airport, even on Monday morning with super heavy traffic. At the price we paid (around USD 75, with Elaborate Breakfast included for 3) this hotel should be full each and every day. Surprisingly it is only 50% occupied. Weekends are full house and sometimes bad audience though. So though totally OK, the weekend is better spend in the countryside.

Nice hotel for travelers it seems

Posted Jan 28, 2018
Decent rooms and restaurant. Breakfast is couple of cheese ham bread and eggs just to say. Don't have late check out and front desk wasn't pleasant when get asked for it. Probably with a Late check out would be perfect

Truly beautiful, safe and quiet location.

Posted Jan 24, 2018
Pros: Nature, staff, location, comfort, convenience
Cons: It is aging a bit. So more clients and more investment to make it tip top again would help. Potential, and infrastructure is brilliant.
Location: Canal of course. Golf and tons of nature to enjoy on site. 30 minute drive to Colon, 15 to Panama City. 1 hour to the Pacific beaches. What is not to
Wonderful spot to spend a few days. 18 Hole golf course, and nature abound. This is truly a marvel. It is clearly aging a bit, but the price you're getting 10 times your money's worth. There is simply no comparison anywhere near in this regard. Highly recommend coming back to this one.

Hotel is getting run down

Posted Jan 8, 2018
Pros: The grounds are nice and having a balcony looking over the jungle was nice.
Cons: Needs updating, large shower but no shelf to put your shampoo or soap. while the balcony was nice there was no chairs so you could not sit out there.
Stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks. The over all hotel needs some updating. The carpets in the halls are dirty and worn. The first room we had did not look like it had been cleaned, no toilet paper and dead bugs on the floor. We had to move because the air conditioning started to leak water into the room. The second room was better. we had to go to the reception twice because the room had not been made up. The second time they never did come. The wait staff in the restaurant did not speak English and were not easy to deal with. It was very inconsistent how some things were done. We had given a credit card for room charges, the first time was not an issue charging a meal to the room. The second time they said I could not charge to the room and stood at the door so I could not go talk to reception, I did not have cash or credit on me, the manager let us go but I did not like being bullied like that. The grounds are very nice and good if you are a birder. I don't think I would return.

wonderful get away

Posted Jan 6, 2018
We stayed here for a week the start of our vacation. I will definitely return if I can. It is a few miles out of Panama City but that just makes it more peaceful and better chance of seeing some great birds and wildlife. There is a free shuttle once a day to the Municipal Parque, Miraflores Locks or Albrook Mall. There is also an easy walking trail behind the trail with a butterfly garden. We saw several birds and monkeys from the balcony in our room. Our Spanish speaking is very limited so finding things could be confusing but the staff was very helpful if you asked. The breakfast buffet was included- pretty much the same thing every day but I’m not a breakfast person. Lunch and dinner was excellent and reasonably priced. I tried to add photos but Wi-Fi is limited and they don’t seem to want to load. I also want to thank Cristina with Expedia concierge with helping us figure out the bus system and Luisaura and Enock at the front desk for their help and understanding

Beautiful location and grounds but neglectful mgmt

Posted Jan 4, 2018
Pros: See above.
Cons: Fire the manager and bring in someone new.
Location: Lots to do - City as well as Nature.
This is a hotel that should be one of the most desirable places around Panama City, except that it has been ruined by a management that is utterly incompetent! THIS WAS OUR SECOND TIME THERE AFTER SEVERAL YEARS. The location is fabulous! Close enough to Panama City and yet on the edge of a amazing rain forest preserve. The grounds are stunning with a golf course, two pools and beautiful views. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. But that’s where it ends! The service is miserable. Don’t expect to get food served on time, or to get what you ordered. The quality is also pretty bad. Rooms may not get cleaned till very late. Toilets may not work. Shower water may not drain. If you push them they might upgrade you because they seem to know how badly they are operating, which makes it even more pathetic and mystifying! Where’s the Radisson Corporate Management? Why are they letting such a beautiful property be neglected? Why isn’t someone getting fired?
