I filed one small complaint while staying there about the breakfast utensils in place eating side up which meant guests were touching these with there hands sharing germs. To their credit, the next day everything was done properly. I don't want anyone to get sick when they travel. The hold times on the food were perfect. They were hot and ready. The rooms are clean and spacious. We had adjoinging rooms so our daughter's family could be next to us. The hotel was very accomodating. We will go back again.

I like this property, and I will stay here again. My only complaints are these. Ice machine on second floor wasn't working. I was able to go to the third floor and get ice. I let the front staff know, and she made a maintenance request which is what is supposed to happen. Secondly, I am very careful with breakfast bars because you are at the mercy of those who put out the food. Utensils should be handle up in the container for guests to pull out. These were the eating end up so if you pulled a utensil out after someone who had the flu or a cold...you would be the next to get the gift that keeps on giving. The holding temp on the eggs and the sausage/bacon was not high enough. According to servesafe and the National Restaurant Association, you want a holding temp of 165 or higher. I had to nuke the eggs to make them a reasonable temp. The fridge was not cold enough. That should be 41 or below. Food spoilage is very harmful to young children and older people. There were only about three people eating breakfast. Sometimes hotels will try to say so many people opening the fridge cause it to be warm. If that's the case, you need a professional refridgerator. But with just 3 people eating breakfast it is not a valid excuse. Also, the coffee is just not good. Nearly every hotel uses the junk coffee, and I feel you would really up your game with a quality bean. So, the morning person should be retrained to insure the safety of guests. She is very nice.

5/5 experience at the Wingate by Wyndham.
The hotel was great, didn't use but the pool looked great, the area and pool was clean. I didn't peak at the work out room but there was one available. Our room was a good size with a decent sized mini-fridge and a microwave (all the usual amenities). Bed was too soft for me so i had difficulty sleeping, but that's just me. Rooms A/C worked really well. Decent amount of channels to browse. Couch was firm but comfortable. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. Tons of store options in the area, including restaurants and it's not far from a park/beach area in a freshwater bay/lake (not sure what it was)

Well the night guy was rude! Needs manners training! The breakfast was great! Friendly day shift! Very quit stay! They charge 100.00 dollars for incidentals! That’s why there was more people at the other hotels! I have to start reading the hotel’s policies next trip! Other than the fee of 100.00 I would stay there again! Hope I am refunded!

One night stay while traveling across country for a funeral. Would have stayed the entire trip at this location. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to explore the area. Shower was as hot as you can handle!! For the ladies, don't miss the bright over the microwave - great option for face/hair if you need to share the bathroom. I would return.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed. A few negatives: GPS took me twice to the wrong location (address has a "south" in it that is left out on expedia's address for the hotel); coffee was not very nice; the lobby smelled strongly of antiseptic. But overall a good stay.

Its a convenient hotel, around the area. Great front desk service. I even forgot a bag at the lobby, the staff took care of it immediately, to put it in a safe place while I was coming to get it. The only con id the humidity and smell, which is pretty much for every other hotel in Panama City. We were kindly moved to a “less” humid room, didnt help my allergies but we survived 😉
