We experience a breakage of the main water line on the neighborhood water system two days prior to your arrival, the city provided us with intermittent water supply, we had very bad water pressure which prevented us to being able to fire the water heaters. we have this problems very often because this are were the property is located, as we have lots of new buildings and hotels popping out and taking our water supply. we apologize the inconveniences our guest are experimenting but it is impossible for us to control what the Panama City water company is distributing correct water pressure.

Look for another hotel.

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: Nothing. I booked two weeks but I left after one.
Cons: None to be improved. Just demolition will improve it.
Location: Nice restaurants around, especially on Via Argentina. Very close to a shopping area.
Everything that make a stay in a hotel comfortable is missing from this hotel. I don't know why is even called a hotel.

You can do better.

This is not a "real" hotel -- it's basically a big apartment converted into rooms for rent (with a central area for eating breakfast etc.). It's literally in an apartment building and has (almost) no sign, so you may have trouble finding it. Place isn't as cool as the pictures I saw. Basically a flickering fluorescent light on a stucco wall and some bent up hangers on a metal bar (no closet). And the walls are super thin so you hear everything. I feel okay about having stayed there a night -- needed a spot on short notice and the price was super low. But I wouldn't book it again.

Quiet, nice breakfast, will return.

Posted Apr 25, 2015 on Hotels
This is our second time at the Autograph Lodge. We really enjoy the peace and quiet. Each morning we have a different breakfast including fruit, coffee and orange juice. The linen was changed 3 times in 5 nights and the towels everyday. No toiletries except soap and no tissues. Hot water is intermittent. The room could use another light but that will not keep us from returning. Staff very sweet and helpful. If you are looking for a fancy hotel this is not for you. Simple is the key here.

Fine if you're on a budget!

Pros: Price and the friendly staff.
Cons: A lot!
The breakfasts are cereal and fruit. Fruit was good. No non-gluten cereal. Place is clean. Workmanship of recent improvements are that of a poor quality handyman. Not 3 stars. 2 at best. But the staff are very nice and friendly!

Very well located. They are customer driven !!!, but the services (cleaning and so) in the rooms should be improved.

Disappointing

Posted Mar 2, 2015
The hotel is family owned and the daughter, a sweet girl proved to be of fine assistance, as did the other family members. But overall the lodge was rather depressing, with a dark and windowless dining hall/room, a very uninviting and unkempt back yard, very limited hot water usage (about 1-2 minutes) and paper thin walls that made it seem like one was sharing a room. Perhaps even worse, the fact that one must acquire a key to the outdoor when one seeks/wants to exit the house or go outside, which in this case, means giving up your room key and having to wait sometimes just to get the outdoor key, is something I have never experienced before in all my years (35) of shoe-string and non shoe string travel. It all makes for a very confining and I would even say, debilitating experience, one that begs the question for any budget traveler: why stay here when there are muchos hotels at the same price that clearly exceed in worth the atmosphere of this hotel?

Great value, but arrive by 10pm!

Posted Feb 25, 2015 on Orbitz
Everything was expected, but nowhere in my reservation was I made aware that the check-in period closes at 10pm. We arrived around 9:45pm, so not sure what would have happened had we arrived later.
