Dissapointed
The first day the front desk attendant charged me $45 he said I did not have a reservation. I had to talk to someone else and I though I got my money back, it was a bad first impression. AC was not working properly, the small fridge was not working right and it tool a couple of days to get it replaced. They had a toaster connected to an electrical extension and the breaker will not stay on. I got ill and needed to come back before. I liked Panama, people very friendly, but I know I will never go back to this hotel.

Hotel is an older hotel with very large rooms. We enjoyed our stay and is very well prices with a more than avg breakfast for what you are paying. Very centrally located

The coffee table was broken and the broken side piece was just set into place, the stand up mirror was very unstable. There was black mold on the ceiling of the shower stall. The shower stall had no soap dish, just a rusted piece of hardware where it used to be and the granite floor of the walk in shower was extremely slippery. They had no coffee maker in the room, no Wifi in the room we had to go to the lobby for internet. Our room was not made up by housekeeping and when I asked for 2 dry towels the evening before departure, there were none. Overall we were disappointed. On a positive note, it was quiet for sleeping and the serving lady at breakfast was a lovely lady.

we regret the problem had with the hot water but front desk offered a change of room immediately reported the problem and you refused to change it was the only things we could do at the moment.

Good value for the money. Hotel is looking tired and worn. We had a very large room with a king size bed and large sitting area with a chair, sofa and writing desk. The window shades were broken and tied up with twine and the view outside was of an abandoned building. The staff was very helpful and nice and the daily breakfast was very good.

A dump and terrible hotel
Terrible terrible terrible. Lights did not work, no hangers, no iron, no hot water, windows wont shut. At the time of checkout, i have to wait for 30 mins because no one was at feont. At the time of check in, they charge $25 for the extra person even my booking mention 2 people. This is a most terrible stay of my life and i travel once a week.

Did not stay here but went to property to view the rooms and the property. This property although clean is in very poor condition as far as maintenance and upkeep are concern. rooms with pealing walls very dirty carpet on hallways.

Deville Hotel Boutique, Panama City: Nice hotel. Big room. Relatively good breakfast, but starting at 7 am. Helpful reception. It seems Panama City does not have a down town, but the hotel is near main streets where shops & people are. Numerous restaurants of all kinds.

Pleased and happy
Really large room with desk and sitting area. Very comfortable king bed. Extra large bathroom and huge shower in a white marble room. The furniture was an antique wood that complemented the rooms decor. I was very pleased with the hotel and breakfast, would stay again

Interesting place. No hot water... probably won't be back because of that. A simple carpet cleaning in Hall 2nd floor would go a long way in cleanliness presentation. All in all it's a decent place with A LOT of potential.

Location is excellent. Close to the water and excellent places to eat. Truly unique layout. Towels are sad, water will never get hot, though much of Panama City does not have hot water. Breakfast is fine. Coffee maker in room is available upon request.

The staff are very kind.I felt like a was in a friend's house. The room are big and clean. Breakfast complete. Wi Fi excellente signal. Near just walking, farmacy, food restaurants, casino, etc. The only thing that I missed are the hand towels and they should change bath towels, but I give them 5 stars. I would stay again.

Pretty good, nice hotel. Got a suite! Good service. Convenient location. Near casino, restaurants, and banks. Hotel should provide bottled cold water. Lobby needs a new, working pop machine.

Location is the best point. Simple check in and out also a good point. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Bathroom is modern and clean. Overall room is very spacious and cozy. On the other side, these could be improved: the old and stale smell, the lack of light in the room.

Good spacious place but def older
Duplex was big had living area with 2 big bathrooms. Floor was buckled up in upstairs makes you always trip walking from bed to bathroom. Sheets were holey..smelled like mold. Mini fridge didnt really get cold. Breakfast really needs to be upgraded...only bread , fruit and yogurt , with hotdogs. Good spacious place but older.

Value accommodation in Panama City
Hotel DeVille remains my choice for a value accommodation in Panama City due to its location, cleanliness and overall comfort. I discount the breakfast as it isn't my favorite. The last two times the hot water wasn't particularly hot and we were only given a bath towel. For the price, it is a great deal. If the price was to increase then I might be asking for more but for now - it works for me and my family when they travel with me.

The staff was great, they were friendly and very accommodating. Unfortunately, the property simply needs investment as there were various small defects in the room that made our stay average; the carpet in the hallways is also extremely dirty and it seems like it hasn't been cleaned in years. I would not stay here again but if you can find this property for $60 or less a night, you likely won't be disappointed.

This hotel as very comfortable beds. the rooms are nice, one thing that was very disappointing was their breakfast. Not much there for breakfast and if you want to have eggs you have to pay $3.00 ( you can buy two dozen eggs for that price in the stores) but they want you to pay that for just 2 eggs in the so called free breakfast. The staff was nice. No restaurant in the hotel as the description says. Internet is not the best. They shut down sometime during the night. We have stayed in this hotel a few times, but I think we are going to try another hotel.

This place is like an old throbred...once grand and in good shape, but now old and well used and TIRED. The rooms are huge and everything you really need is there: a reasonably comfy bed, tv's, a mini fridge, and a large bathroom plus a half bath. However the sheets are worn, our headboard was broken, and the towels are of cheap quality and they are stingy with them! Our biggest complaint is with the cleanliness of the shower: mold and years of accumulated crud esp in shower door. The staff work very hard and some of them haven't had a day off in three years. They were cheerful and always willing to help if they could. The breakfast always had fresh fruit, a variety of breads, coffee, orange juice and typical Panamanian hot cakes of corn, sausages, cold meat and cheese. No eggs or potatoes, It was bland at best, but that is Panama. The hotel is close to stores and the metro and you can easily walk to the waterfront. Use Uber for travel to Old Town etc. the area is safe, but be careful on the sidewalks!

We had a nice 6 night stay at DeVille Hotel. I attended a conference for work that was only two blocks away. DeVille was clean, quiet, comfortable and conveniently located. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
