Needs some work

Pros: It is right next to a mall where you can shop and get food.
Cons: Fix the internet access. Get better staff. Upgrade the elevators because they are slow as molasses. Upgrade the IT system.
Location: Central to business area. Not pretty but easy access to where you need to go to do business
The hotel itself is about average for US standards. The rooms were clean and the maid service was prompt. Maintenance of some parts of the hotel were an issue. The humidity is high in Panama and they do not do enough to condition the air internally, so the carpet is all rotting. There is a nasty odor that permeates the entire hotel. Carpet and Panama do NOT mix. The internet is useless. I do not exaggerate. It constantly disconnects and does not give enough speed to do any work at all. If you are planning to use a VPN to log into to your corporate environment to do some work, you will be very disappointed. Reception staff are incompetent. My TV and phone went out in my room and I took the elevator down to ask them to fix it. I speaks some Spanish so I overheard them give the repair tech the wrong room number. I told the receptionist that he had given them the wrong room number but he insisted he had not. 45 minutes later after no-one came to fix the problem, I went downstairs again to find to what happened and sure enough they had given IT support the wrong room number. Unbelievable. He called again and AGAIN gave them another wrong room number. I called him out on it again and he corrected his mistake this time, but I find it hard to believe that anyone so stupid could possibly have made it to adulthood. Because the phone was still out, I asked him to order room service for me and pointed out the exact items on the menu to order. He got this wrong too. Wow.

Very Disappointed! Early check-out, NEVER AGAIN!!!

This was a HORRIBLE stay and I plan to never stay at a Hard Rock property again! I sent a message related to receiving an early check-in, never got a response until the next day, pointless. The initial room that I was given had a TV with blown speakers so I could barely hear/understand programming. I called the front desk, they sent a Technician who agreed that the TV was "shot". The front desk said they would give me another TV, I simply requested to move to another room since I was told they had plenty available rooms. A Bellman came to deliver new room keys to me, I gave him a tip, and meant to give him $3 (3 one dollar bills), instead, I gave him $23 (2 one dollar bills and a 20.00 bill). When I discovered the error, I approached the Bellman and he stated that I was incorrect, however I know that I only had a total of $27.00 in my pocket (one 20.00 bill and 7 one dollar bills) prior to the tip but ended up with $5(five 1's) The new room that I was given was NOT clean. There was noticeable hair in the bathroom sink, toilet, floor, dust/dirt on the floor around the toilet, VERY disgusting and there were no washcloths in the room. I called the Concierge to make them aware of the issues, they simply offered to send washcloths to my room, I was shocked they didn't acknowledge the dirty room since I made them aware. Lastly, when I checked out I made the Front Desk agent aware of my numerous issues, he did NOT empathize, he gave me a business card and said I can send an email.

Very active hotel

There is s lot to do at this hotel. The nightlife is full of energy. The view from the 62 floor at night was incredible.

Cold and Sterile

Pros: Location
Cons: Internet; friendliness of staff.
Location: Near to Metrocentro Mall and to metro train service.
Facility is modern, but rooms cold and sterile. Internet is horrible, very poor reception and totally undependable and slow, when working.

A megapolis tower

Pros: Location, views, food, service
Cons: The staff could learn to speak English. Very very very small pool.
Location: City walks, shopping, casino.
Everything was great. Nice views of the city, the overwhelming choice of food in the bazaar restaurant.

Terrible hotel run by children.

Terrible experience. Elevators not working. Food awful. Stay at The Bristol if you want a five-star experience. Stay here if you want a one-star experience.
