Fantastic beach, terrible hotel

The beach is long and clean, and the hotel does have plenty of lounge chairs on the beach and around the pool. That is the best thing I can say about the hotel. With the exception of entertainment staff, the hotel employees were unfriendly and lacked basic customer service skills. Service at the reservation only dinners was very bad (even difficult to get a water refilled), and many of the restaurants are next to the stage, so instead of a pleasant, quiet meal, you can't even have a conversation because there is a show or movie blaring into the restaurant. The food was not very good, even by all-inclusive standards. There were very long lines at the bars around the main pool areas. It has potential to be a nice place, but I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

If you paid more than $70 per night, you overpaid!

Pros: The grounds are very well kept, beautiful in fact.
Cons: Customer service, table service, new beds, iron, ironing board in the rooms, more bars for less lines, way better food, new air conditioners.
Location: On the beach, there are a few beachfront bars along the coastline within walking distance. You'll need them if you get thirsty and don't want a line.
I'm not even sure where to begin with this hotel. It used to be a way better experience. For some reason, it's just become a real 3rd world experience. The food is bland, with really only variations of rice dishes, what tastes like boiled beef, and wieners soaked in tomato sauce. Check in was horrible, the beds are smashed in from years of use, the rooms don't have any amenities, not even an iron. The air conditioner in our room rattled so bad, it was debatable whether we should just sweat it out. I could just go on and on about how disappointed I have become with a hotel that I used to frequent. Never again. All inclusive, when you could get someone to serve you, or when there wasn't a 20 minute line up at the bars... what a joke!

Hotel de 2 estrellas, salvase quien pueda.

al llegar a la habitación encontramos que la habitación tiene 2 camas, llamamos a la recepción para solicitar que nos interesa cuarto con cama King y la persona respondió le podemos ofrecer solo para mañana ya que para hoy no hay, y que el día mañana presentar a las 3:00 pm para solicitar el cambio y así procedimos al llegar el día siguiente la joven nos informo que tampoco hoy pueden dar te habitación con cama king mientras estamos en segundo día nos apunto para el tercer día que es la ultima noche le dijimos que no nos interesa para una noche que falta preferimos no hacer el cambio, mi recomendaciones a mis familiares y amigos que no recomiendo este lugar.

Slides are nice, but kids was broken and the others had an age restriction. Not good when you are traveling with a boy that has autism.

Besviken

Personalen på hotellet pratade väldigt lite om ens någon engelska; de var inte särkild trevliga. Vi fick fel rum först (med tre sängar) när vi hade bokat en dubbelsäng. Vi fick bära våra väskor fram och tillbaks utan hjälp. Maten höll inte någon bra kvalité, och det fanns ingen vegetarisk mat. De centrala poolerna kändes inte så fräscha, och det var väldigt hög musik. Drinkarna som var inkluderade var inte så vältänkta, utan slarvgjorda. Gästerna reserverade solstolar i skuggan redan vid 7-tiden, vilket inte var tillåtet och konflikter uppstod mellan gästerna på grund av det. Jag är besviken över min vistelse och rekommenderar alternativa hotell i området.

Pros: Large Beautiful Hotel Friendly staff Plenty of activities
Cons: Food is only so so quality Hotel is on a hill so its down to the beach and up to the hotel room Not enough chaise lounges to accomodate the guests
Location: Close to Nature preserve Near Canal and shopping
The hotel is very Large and Beautiful with 800 plus rooms. However Mini busses are recommended to travel from one end of the resort to the other. Trip from the airport to the hotel took 2 hours and cost $100 each way. There is plenty of food and restaurants however like any "all inclusive" resort the food is only so so quality. Please be in good physical condition because this Hotel is on a hill so every day it was down to the beach/ restaurants and then up to the hotel room. There is not enough chaise lounges for the guests, particularly if you prefer "out of the sun" as we do. The staff we found very friendly and in addition there were plenty of activities to do each day.
