"The staff at the Mai Tai Express Hotel were very friendly and accommodating. They quickly called taxis for us when needed, and had a luggage storage room. The room is not large, but is adequate in size with a generous bathroom and nice shower. There was a room safe, electric teapot and refrigerator. The breakfast was expensive for what it is, and there are many close by options for less than the $32 a person. The bed was VERY comfortable and the room was very quiet. The location was excellent being in walking distance of the cruise terminal, shopping mall, and good restaurants and coffee shops. We stayed there before and after our cruise, and would stay there again."

"We had no hot water in our room. However, the hotel went to great lengths to remedy the issue, including paying for multiple breakfasts and lunches. They also allowed us to use the changing rooms to shower where there was hot water. They were sold out so another room wasn’t an option. It was disappointing that the facilities weren’t fully functional, but the manager stepped up to remedy the issue. They showed that they cared and that’s what matters. "

"The kitchen is great for the party of up to 4 people. We haven't used the work-desk but with AC on in the living room it should be well set.But the balcony, or rather terrace is as perfect as it can be.You don't beat this kind of view any time of the day or night.Check the photos - both taken just sitting at the table, living a dream and feeling nothing but pure joy!"

"Room is very nice and big. Lighting needs to be brighter particularly in the bathroom. Front desk staff very helpful. Dining is very good too."
