Lovely hotel with a great pool

Posted Aug 11, 2015
Stayed for a week on half board. A lovely hotel with great food and all the usual amenities you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Staff very helpful and attentive. Lovely pool and beach area

Beautiful Setting

Posted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: Beautiful view of the sea.
Cons: Dirty dishes in rooms should be removed and cleaned.
Location: Great location near downtown and a walking path along the beach.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurants/food was interesting with a different ethnic buffet each night at one of the restaurants.

Breakfast Buffet

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Staff are very friendly and location is great.
Cons: Try to resolve the bird and flies issues on the breakfast time.
Location: close to the main street, shops and restaurant.
Overall the breakfast buffet is great. There is a lot of different food to choose from and the staff are very friendly. But the downside was that some of the food especially the fruit, yogurt station there were small flies on some of the food. Also, because they had the doors open to the outside terrance there were small birds flying inside and nibbling on the bread section, as while as on the pancakes.

Poor view from rooms

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Public areas, several pools.
Cons: Description of rooms.
Location: Beach, some night life.
The so-called "garden view" rooms have absolutely no view whatsoever, facing an empty field outside the hotel. This was quite disappointing.

Nice common facilities, rather disappointing rooms

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: Main pools and common facilities.
Cons: The gym is very small, rooms have very poor view, breakfast buffet is very modest.
While the common facilities are generally good, the rooms were quite disappointing in terms of their view and size. Specifically, the garden view rooms had no "garden" view at all but rather an empty field outside the hotel, while the maisonette had no view whatsoever with a big wall blocking everything. The room size was also very small.

lovely hotel near beach and amenities

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Pool /Food /staff
Location: Shower faciliteis in the room are slightly archaic
Great hotel with a wide range of amenities both in and outside of the Hotel. The reception and staff were all excellent and continually smiling and accommodating. The room was a little small but had all the amenities for a hotel of this quality.though the shower facility a little old fashioned. Large pool area with constant attention by bar staff to keep you cool with all that sun and heat. A wide range of good eating on the resort. The late night entertainment was mixed and not consistent but OK. Good value especially with current exchange rate. Great experience all round

Just great

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Friendliness of the staff
A true 5* hotel in a great location with the grounds spaciously appointed and offering a delightful walk to the old harbour. The friendliness of the staff make for a very relaxing stay. One possibly disappointing aspect was the beach, all vulcanic sand, dark and dirty!. However, unless sea swimming is your only vice, the very attractive pool layout more than makes up for it.

Lovely hotel

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: The pools were fantastic. My children loved the slide. They were all warm enough to swim in mid-May.
Cons: We stayed in the Maisonette with our 2 children (3 + 5). They gave us bunkbeds in the lower floor. The upstairs shower room was very dark and small.
Location: We didn't leave the hotel!
Great hotel but don't go for the beach. The beach was dark sand (almost dirt) so we didn't bother to sit at beach. Our 3 and 5 year olds didn't want to play in the dirt/sand. Room was spacious (Maisonette) if a little dark. Beautiful well kept gardens and pool area. Food was very good. We went for the half board option. The buffet menu changed every night although some were similar themes (Mediterranean v Greek v Cypriot) but they also had Asian and Indian night. Pools all lovely. Service all friendly and helpful. Our children went to the kids club a couple of times and always wanted to go back. Rachel at the Kids Club was great with the children.
