Room could be better

Posted Oct 10, 2017
Toilet was dirty and the bathtub faucet dripped and no one came to fix it even though we called. Refrigerator is a mini bar with sensor so don't dare move anything to put in personal stuff. Food and drinks are very expensive. Hotel is huge and not handicap friendly a lot of walking. Grounds are nice and well kept plenty of pools and bathrooms. Water rides are fun and lots for kids to do.

Truly a Paradise! Check for scheduled events b4f

We were there for our son’s wedding and some much needed R & R. The entire staff was so gracious and helpful. The property just stunning, ocean view room stunning, casino was fun, water features outstanding! However, the Steve Harvey Sun and Sand event going on there negated all of that unfortunately. The outdoor stage set up by the pool for the various musical guests and surrounding areas (which is HUGE) became intolerable when the music started at noon each day and hundreds of people crowded in there and lasted until 11:00 pm. The base from the music literally shook our patio doors on the 23rd floor. We will be back but will definitely check the event schedule before booking.

Great hotel as always. However we had to switch rooms due to some problems. Also a little disappointed that the rapid river wasn’t fully open and not many restaurants open either. We’ve gone previous years at the same time and like that it is not crazy busy - but have never experience so many closures.

The first impression of the hotel was great but when we checked in and try to get into the rm we were locked out. Waited almost 45mins to get the room open then when we finally got in the room was really dirty and we had to go bk to front desk and let them know . They then changed our room. It was ok after that. When my kids tried to do the rides they had A glitch in the system and were unable to. Also the Lazy river was closed they said it was not peak season. Really disappointed abt some of these hiccups. Some of the restaurants were also closed because it wasn’t peak period . The price to swim with the dolphins was ridiculous .

Okay hotel... but they kept taking money out of my checking account for no reason. After asking the staff as to why, I got ignored and never resolved my problem.

Hi joel, We pride ourselves on delivering an awe-inspiring vacation experience and it sounds like yours did not meet your personal expectations. Please, upon check-in, you are able to place a credit card on file for your incidentals or pay a deposit via cash. If you leave your credit card on-file, you are able to use your room key throughout the resort for purchases. There is a holding charge on the credit card, which is based on various factors, including number of nights and type of package booked so it would be best to ask your front desk agent at check in for the best estimate. In addition, for those booking directly through Atlantis’ channels, you will notice this information on your confirmation. We will pass your feedback along to the appropriate teams so that we can continue to improve the guest experience.

Everything there is very overpriced. This was our 2nd visit and I expected pricey but this visit was way beyond that.

We had an amazing time at the Atlantis royal towers, the property had lots to offer, and we loved the beach! It was a perfect get away! All of our restaurant experiences were awesome except for the buffet at Poseidon 's , the food was ok, but the pricing was very expensive for the quality of food, we had an amazing meal at Seafire, and wished we would have skipped the buffet, to enjoy Seafire and Cafe Martinique. The service and food quality at both restaurants were worth the money you pay. The buffet should be a $20 per person at top end.

Hi Expedia User, We are pleased that you enjoyed your time at Royal Towers, but we are disappointed that not all of your time with us lived up to your personal expectations. The Bahamas Ministry of Finance has implemented a mandatory Value Added Tax (VAT) on goods and services. In addition to this tax, there is a mandatory 15% gratuity of all services including food and beverage. We do hope you will consider joining us again on future trips.
