"Contemporary & quiet beach"
The Reef Atlantis was nice and clean. The suite we stayed had kitchenette and didn't worry about meals every time. But wish Atlantis is All Inclusive like Cancun. The beach was exclusive use for Reef guest only and it was peaceful. Surprisingly the cost of living was so high.

"beautiful beach, beautiful property."
very relaxing! Dunes restaurant was delicious. Beach staff was great! Inconsistent service with in room staff....deliveries were not always on time or when requested. Bed was uncomfortable and although management said they would fix the problem, they never did. Even though we had these slight issues, we will surely be heading back!

"great location,in front of beach"
My husband and I decided to stay here for our honeymoon . This hotel is nice and comfortable right in front of paradise! It is located in paradise island, walking distance from Atlantis, and Nassau ! This hotel is not a huge commercial building rather more private villas and rooms! The employees are great and friendly! We had the time of our lives here at the Bahamas !

"More apartments than hotel"
I like this hotel, in fact, it is the second time that I come back. However, it is good to know that it is not a hotel but an apartment complex. Each room has its living room and kitchen, on the other hand, because of that, the bar closes very early, and there are no many restaurants in the area. You can walk to Anthony's, which is about 10 minutes away, the other option is the restaurants at the Atlantis' marina, but their prices are between $70 and $120 per entree. I like it over all, you just have to be prepared.

"Hotel has a breathtaking view of the ocean"
We enjoyed our stay at Atlantis only if the bathroom was fully functioning. Water was running from the toilet all night was distracting and there was not enough bath towel during 2 nights of our stay. Other than this, it was a great getaway.

"Will be back again "
I stayed at this comfort suites many years ago and hoped that the quality did not fade. Happy to report that it has not. The staff is incredible, friendly, helpful...a true delight. The suite is roomy and clean. I didn't want the crowd of the Atlantis, but wanted to be near the water park. Can't beat being just across the street. The food at the Caruso Restaurant was excellent. A bit pricey, but worth it.

"For those concerned about food prices/service..."
My wife, myself and two kids (14 and 12) stayed at the Beach tower this week. Probably one of the best, most relaxing vacations we have had. The lines were not incredibly long for the rides (sometimes they were actually a minute long) and, although packed at times, the lazy river was always enjoyable. It was our third time there, but the first time with the kids. They enjoyed it immensely. Regarding the cost of food, there are some (somewhat) reasonable options, but the breakfast buffet at Seagrapes ($98 for 4!!) and a can of soda ($3.50) were not one of them. For lunch, you could get two sliders, fries and a drink for $12. Reasonable at any resort. One morning, we got cereals and muffins at the store in the beach tower for $14. Again, a bargain. The service at what they call the fine dining options was excellent. At many of the more casual places, it was definitely slow. That said, go before you are really hungry or you will be frustrated. We did find all of the staff to be polite. No horror stories as some report. I guess the judge of any vacation is to ask 'would you do it again?' My answer: in a heartbeat. For those concerned about costs, once you get there, the only variable for most is the food, unless you want to do things like the dolphin encounter, manta ray feeding, etc. Those are extra. You can certainly research the food costs prior to going to make sure it fits within your budget. As for your kids, they will LOVE it!!

"Perfect place for a getaway"
Had a little difficulty finding the hotel because the sign wasn't very obvious, but that issue was quickly remedied when I reached the hotel. It was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Also loved the color scheme of the room... bright Caribbean colors.

Pocket Guide: Paradise Island, Nassau Apartment Hotels

Paradise Island resembles Las Vegas-upon-the-Caribbean with its fanciful resorts and white sands. Tourists often head to the island’s casinos, five-star restaurants, and shopping gallerias; its beaches, water parks, and nightclubs, however, are geared primarily for resort guests. The Potter’s Cay fish market is an easy detour from Paradise Island. Grouper and conch are typical catches of the day.
