It was conveniently located too many places of interest either by walking or metro. The hotel staff was exceptional, especially Patricia who went out of her way to make our stay memorable. We definitely would come back.

Nice hotel in great location
Excellent hotel in great location. I stayed for 16 nights, and the manager offered me complimentary breakfast for my entire stay! Decent size bedrooms (considering that this is Paris).

St Germaine hotel
Room very small. Hotel has good location and is in well-maintained condition but not good value given its high price due to small noisy room, inconsistent room coffee restocking and breakfast not included in rate. Should not be rated as a 4 star hotel - more accurately a 3 star or less

Big Win at Academie
Wonderful little hotel tucked in a quiet street and a few minutes restaurants and shopping. Very comfortable and loved the breakfast room and the little bar for a nightcap before settling in. The staff were very helpful and all spoke English for us. Would definitely return on our next trip to Paris.

We did not get 4 start hotel services, unfortunately! We stayed there for 8 nights and housekeeping was missing something always, either shower hats, towels, tea begs, etc. I’m ne day, after we came to our suite after long day at Louvre museum, our suite was not cleaned and bed was not made. When we asked the reason they didn’t provide! Breakfast was good, and service was pleasant, interiors were very french country, beautiful, and the location of the hotel was superb!!!! We didn’t get 4 star housekeeping and concierge services though!!’

The staff was great! Helped with taxi and metro. Patricia was always ready to provide advice. Rooms were very comfortable. AC worked great. The hotel is charming! Location is perfect to walk to major museums and other attractions. We recommend this gem and we will be back!

The property was ok but the service was subpar. The front desk was unhelpful, particularly Patricia, sometimes bordering on rude. Also unhelpful with bookings etc; no real concierge. There was loud drilling in the mornings. If you need to blow dry your hair, bring a drier. The drier is absolutely terrible and doesn’t dry.

Great location! Easy and walkable to so many sites and restaurants. I love how this area and arrondissement is generally quieter than some of the more touristy areas yet it’s walkable to the tourist attractions or an easy metro ride away. The rooms are small but I understand most of Paris rooms are very small. The most important things were that the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Wonderful and friendly staff made the stay very enjoyable.

Hotel Académie St Germain neighborhood in Paris
The staff is simply amazing, from check in to recommendations for dining and shopping. They all went out of their way to accommodate us, including first aid for a minor injury. The hotel is located in a wonderful neighborhood, convenient to many big attractions and restaurants and the Seine. We will stay there again!

This property was disappointing. The bedroom was tiny, bed uncomfortable. Breakfast very poor and did not offer value for money. We asked to change rooms but our request wasn’t granted.

We stayed at Academie Hotel for three nights and had the most lovely stay, we did not want to leave! The staff were all wonderful and helped us make reservations and provided recommendations for what to do. They were also extremely welcoming whenever we walked in or headed out for the day. The room was also extremely comfortable (the pillows especially!). We got the Deluxe Room and it was much larger than we expected and was beautifully decorated. It was also very quiet - we could not hear our neighbors and the street noise was minimal to none. We’d recommend this hotel to anyone and would gladly stay again next time we visit Paris.

Great location.
We enjoyed our stay here. Only two small complaints…the shower would leak out all over and into the bedroom. Also, the hair dryer is very old and should be replaced. The lobby personnel are great and it was a good location.

My stay at Hotel Academie Saint Germain last week was absolutely wonderful! Everyone was so friendly and helpful if I ever had any questions. Hotel is centrally located so it was within walking distance and/or metro lines to all major sites. Would absolutely stay there again for any future visits to Paris!

Myself and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay here.The receptionists were particularly friendly on arrival and throughout our stay -we didn’t get the name of the man who was on as night receptionist on 3 nights of our stay, all I know is he was Portuguese through discussion with me in passing about the World Cup, he was a gentleman who couldn’t have been any more help to us, from recommending the best metro tickets for us to buy, the places to visit and how best to get to them. The room was very nice, bed exceptionally comfy and we made use of the luxury jacuzzi bath in our room ! Only downfall was the room was a little smaller than expected but the design and layout made up for this.I would highly recommend this intimate hotel, centrally located in Paris.

I can’t say enough about how perfect this hotel was for our trip! The staff was very welcoming and had the best recommendations for places to eat and activities. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again next time we are in Paris.

Very nice looking hotel in a great location. However, the cleaning left a lot to be desired. There was dirty underwear left on the floor or our room from the previous guest. Also one hand towel was used and a used guest soap was left in the bathroom. The underwear remained for our entire 3 night stay! I was too embarrassed to mention it before check out…I travel a lot and this was a pretty gross experience.

Quiet street but walk a block to San Germain and all the restaurants/shopping you want. Walkable to museums and Latin Quarter as well. Small rooms, but great linens and bedding. Open bar in lobby. Biggest plus is the front desk staff who not only welcome but problem solve and assist everything from booking a train to catching a cab with kindness and laughter. I always felt like I was coming home.

A very comfortable stay at a quaint Paris hotel
I booked through hotels.com a junior suite with sitting area to give ourselves more room for a 6-day stay, but was given one (still a junior suite) w/o a sitting area on arrival. I am not sure if booking through a third party is treated the same as booking direct. Nonetheless, when I asked about it, I was promised a larger room the next day. This is a quaint hotel in a good neighborhood on the left bank of Paris, opposite a university building, and close to Blvd Saint Germaine, River Seine and with many cafes/restaurants nearby. People at the reception are very nice and friendly. They answered all the queries we had. The breakfast room is a bit small, but the breakfast@EUR19 pp is good.

Wonderful wonderful hotel
We had 5 nights before our river cruise. Everyone was wonderful , especially Irene with all of her help and caring and the sweet blond that took care of us in the breakfast area. When I mentioned a cheese I loved and missed it one morning she made sure it was there the next day which was my last there. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. They were 5+ as far as we are concerned!!!
