Paris in Aug 2015

Posted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: Everyone spoke English and were more then happy to help with directions, suggestions where to eat or find a store to pick up some wine.
Cons: Not to sound too high maintains?! But an iron and ironing board in the room would have been nice.
Location: There are four grocery stores within a block of the hotel. There is a Starbucks across the street. Expensive coffee there. Great shopping close by.
This hotel is one of the small budget hotels in Paris. The location is perfect. It is right across from a Metro stop. There are too many restaurants to name within a few blocks of the hotel. There is a open air market right out front on Wed and Sundays. Great place to find some great cheeses, meat, bread etc. The Eiffel tower is about a 10/15 walk. There is a Velib ( public bike rental) a block away. Check out their web site. Riding a bike in Paris is a great way to see the city and in Aug the metro can get a little hot. The Seine River is a short bike ride away. Paris has developed a fun walk along the Seine River with lots of place to sit and picnic or stop by one of many café along the rivers edge. Pont de l'Alma and Pont Alexandre (bridges is where all the action is happening.) There are also some public bathrooms ( toilets) there. Rue Clur is a short walk from the hotel. This street has some great places to pick up fresh food or stop in for lunch / dinner.

Good hotel

Posted Aug 21, 2015
Good location, walking distance to Eiffel Tower, there is a train station with many connections across the street from the hotel. I was able to move around all Paris from that station (La Motte Picquet-Grenelle).

Nice hotel near Eiffel tower

Hotel is very nicely located for travellers. The room is very clean with a mini fridge and a clean bathroom. Breakfast is decent. Honestly worth the price because of the location, cleanness and helpful staff. Wifi works great too.

Splendid La Tour Eiffel Experience!

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: -Refer above
Cons: -Please provide kettle, coffee, tea sachets, milk
Location: -Anything!
-Late check-ins (thankfully very helpful and the staff speaks good English!) -Overall the hotel has a perfect view of Eiffel tower at night, sparkling from beyond -The hotel room is nice, clean, the bathroom is a bit small but still A OK! (hot shower, air-conditioning, hair-dryer, clean towels, shampoo, shower gel-all in good condition) -Reaaaly close to Metro (Just in front of the hotel!); Reaaaly close to Eiffel tower (15 mins walk) -For Muslims, there's one or two Halal kebabs place within 5 mins walk, also, there's a sushi place nearby -Free wifi -I wonder if kettle is provided? -Price is affordable since it's in the city centre -Overall, it's worth the money! Considering the above-average condition of the hotel room, location, safety, comfort and Wi-fi and as a Bonus, the spectacular Eiffel tower view at night.

Top Lage - alles was man braucht in der Umgebung

Posted Aug 8, 2015

Posted Aug 7, 2015
