Nice hotel close to metro and Arc de Triumph

Bad timing with scaffolding and work right outside our window. But, we liked the location and would stay again.

Below expectations

Definitely not a 4 star! Lobby is outdated! Definitely a 3 star feel. Staff was courteous but not overly welcoming. WIFI was a definite problem everyday. The facade was being repainted and the workers were literally outside my window and could see through! I had to close my curtains the whole time. AC worked well. Should change your ratings.

No sex upstairs!

Cons: can hear people having sex upstairs, poor almost non-existent wifi, buffet was over-priced at €15 each Pros: centrally located near transit and 15-20 min walk to the Arc de Triomphe, quiet area, excellent staff, next door to Franprix and restaurants close by

Great hotel!

The hotel is in a good location, easy check in/out if your in a rich, friendly to dogs, and clean. I'v stayed there twice and never had any issues.

Great hotel, great price and great area

We had a fantastic time, the hotel is in a very accessible and beautiful area, a nice walk to Arc d'Triumf and the Champs Elyse. Room is very small and breakfast is a little expensive but make it optional and try some of the local cafe's.

Nice hotel near metro and Arc de Triomphe

Breakfast buffet is worth it and very nice. The hotel is under construction and I was not aware so I did not have a true balcony. This was disappointing but I'm sure once the construction is finished it will be lovely

Great Location

The hotel is conveniently located along Avenue de Wagram in a quiet part of the city away from the crowds of tourists. It's a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe and within the block of the Wagram train station. There's a small supermarket right beside the hotel as well as a handful of eateries within a stone's throw away. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Those in the front desk are quite knowledgeable in giving helpful information for tours and for getting around. The waiter in the hotel restaurant is warm and welcoming as well. Rooms are cleaned regularly and very efficiently with towels and amenities replaced whenever needed. Stayed there with my wife and other friends for the Paris Marathon and was very happy with our stay. As the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, things get quite noisy by mid morning. This wasn't an issue for us, though, as we hardly stayed in the hotel during the day.

Air con did not work. they say that it is only to be switched on next month, on 1st May. How ridiculous.

Avoid "Secret hotels"

Location: A residential quarter. If you want to visit touristic Paris, you have to walk a lot from this hotel. A good point? the restaurant across the street
I had a hotel room booked in a 3x star hotel in La Madeleine area. 100EUR/night in a renovated, great location hotel. As it was possible to cancel with no penalties until a couple of days ahead of the check in, I was looking out to get a better hotel. I got one of those "Secret hotel" offers: a 4x star hotel in Champs Elysees area. I had to say I doubted to change my already booked room, but I finally canceled it and took the "Secret hotel" offer. I higly regret. The hotel is 20min walking from the Arch du Triumphe, and despite there is a subway station a block away, the connections of that line are poor. You will have to change a lot the subway line to get to touristic Paris. But the worst is the hotel itself, and expedia approach to my complains. I has not been renovated for decades. Expect a lobby cheaper than 1x star hotel in an isolated town. The rooms, despite are clean, are dark and the beds are single, just put together. And the facade is going thru maintanance. Of course I got a room with a view to the platform the workers were using. And I had a drill in my head starting 8am. No matter my complaints to expedia, even before my arrival -just look at the hotel website: it is as it looks. Absolutely not a 4x star hotel-, they declined to cancel the booking. And it was absolutely not an offer: the rack price in their website is what I paid thru expedia. Never, ever, take this cheaty offers.
