Did you say you wanted Paris at your fingertips? This is the place for you!! The BW HOTEL RONCERAY OPERA is conveniently located right next to everything. With a metro stop on either corner of the block, you just can't go wrong!

Pros: The location is great. Close to a metro station. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.
Cons: The room was small and dated. It wasn't really clean. The wifi was slow.
Location: Great location with a metro station right outside.

Nice.......BUT

Posted Jun 15, 2016 on Hotels
A very friendly staff, helpful, spoke English. The bathrooms were immaculate! The room I had was small, but clean appearance..... adequate for my needs. Location was great with a metro entrance a half block away. I would give this hotel a very good rating however here comes the BIG BUT.... My third night I found a BED BUG in the sheets. At 3am I was moving to a new room. Spent the last three days sleeping with one eye open. The room was smaller than the one I initially had(which had a nice view of the tree lined boulevard. No problems in the new room. The Hotel offered NO compensation for the problem or inconvenience. I left with 21 classic bite patterns on my upper body. Still have some of the marks. I therefore can't recommend this Hotel!

Good location right off Metro at Grands Blvd Station. Lots of restaurants and theatres nearby. Room is 3 stars. Service is ok. Good for simple travellers who are not picky and want to experience local Paris city life.

The view form our room says it all. To sit up in bed and look out and see Sacre Coeur is unreal.

First night we arrived was greeted by receptionist. All went well and then I entered our room. The overwhelming smell of stale food hit us like a brick. After phoning down to see if this was a smoking room as it had a balcony I was rudely hung up on. Then a phone call from reception at 2330 to see if it was us In that room. First impressions were bad and it was only going to get worse. I read about soundproofed rooms. I wish. We were kept up all night with the goings on of our active neighbours. But a new day had come and as my wife showered she described it as being peed on from a height. I was next in the shower and soon found out that the shower head was embedded in dirt and grime. Which I had to clean. A great start to the day. as we were in a hotel that we didn't know we put our stuff In the safe and headed out and lastly put a do not disturb sign on the door. When we came back from a lovely day the sign had been taken off and the room had been entered. Ok no harm done some may say. I do not. By then we had new neighbours who were a rather large family and instead of giving them rooms next to each other they placed them at different places on our floor. So another disturbed night of children running in the corridors and doors slamming all night and early morning. The next morning we went out and as we had not had a proper sleep yet we returned mid afternoon to go for a nap. Again the maids presented themselves to the do not disturb sign by entering the room. Don't stay.
