Convenient. Clean and modern suite

Posted Jan 13, 2017
Pros: Convenient location close to metro lines, good restaraunts in locale. nice clean suites with useful kitchen
Cons: The Wifi is not secure so we couldn't use it with our devices.
Location: The hotel is located in Bastille Marais neighborhood which is next to a market, and short walking distance to Metro lines.
This is a nice small hotel of business type suites with kitchen which was useful as we shopped at wonderful parisian markets for snacks. The breakfast although expensive was high quality with cooked delicious ham, sausages and scrambled egg, and offered nice pastries and a large espresso/cappucino machine. The staff was very friendly and engaging. We ran out of hot water on second day but this was promptly fixed. The Wifi is not secure so we couldn't use it with our devices. I informed staff but I don't think they could do anything about it. We had our own mobile wifi router which I highly recommend while traveling in Europe. The hotel is located in Bastille Marais neighborhood which is next to a market, and short walking distance to Metro lines. You can walk to Notre Dame , Seine, and Latin Quarter which was very enjoyable. There are many solid restaurants the in area. Highly Recommend Bistrot Des Vosges and Chez Janou.

Perfect location near the huge Bastille market.

Posted Nov 1, 2016
Pros: Location and modern decor. Everything worked as it should Liked the privacy of no servicing
Cons: Have no complaints
Location: Bastille market is the best in the city. Good transport options. And easy walk to Marais, opera Easy access to Gare de Lyon and le bus direct to CDG
Loved the little completely equipped kitchen large bright room on street side. Very good lighting for a Paris lodging. Well thought out design. Wish I could have stayed longer. Will choose this place for next trip to Paris. Staff were so helpful and friendly

Aparthotel with 3 separate beds

Posted Oct 10, 2016
Pros: That it had 3 separate beds for 3 of us girls.
Cons: Communication between reception and housekeeping. Confusion over whether room was ready or not.
Location: It was in Richard Lenoir Bld where there was a weekly fresh food market Thursday. There were also nearby food places : cafes, boulangerie & wine shops.
It was great to find 3 separate beds in Paris for 2 nights in a nice environment for a reasonable price. This one was a good find as it had the space, kitchen facilities and close to food places and a fresh market when we arrived.

Comfortable and well located.

Posted Oct 1, 2016
Pros: It's modern and bright room layout, the comfortable bed and the kitchenette. If it had been hot, the A/C would have been very welcome.
Cons: The shower head (shower is a hand-held arrangement) did not function very well in our room.
Location: The location is terrific with a parkette in the street median. See above also. Richard Lenoir (the street) is busy with a lot of motorcycle shops.
The Citadines Bastille Marais is the perfect hotel for travellers who prefer to prepare food themselves and also like other "homelike" amenities such as access to laundry facilities and adequate storage. This hotel is extremely well situated between two metro lines, one (the #8 I think) which brings you to the Opera area which is tourist-central. There are several well-stocked supermarkets and boulangeries within a few minutes walk of the hotel which we made good use of. The hotel is only about a 10 minute walk to Place des Vosges which is a heavenly part of the Marais in Paris - a busy but relaxed park/square that feels so authentically European. Another 10 minutes will bring you to the bridge to the Ile St-Louis with its picturesque streets, quirky shops and fabulous Berthillon ice cream choices.

Disappointing

Posted Sep 17, 2016
Pros: Very well equipped studio with everything you need - kitchen equipment, ironing board, laundry downstairs.
Cons: Air conditioning was a bit weak, the furnishings were limited and drab, balcony was dirty, the hotel felt very understaffed.
Location: Not a very beautiful street but a central location near the Marais.
The hotel staff were nice when I checked in, but were very flustered and clearly understaffed. I had twin beds in my double studio, which was a bit annoying as I'd requested the latter - but just pushed them together. The studio itself was well equipped - the kitchen had everything you could need, except an oven - but who needs an oven on holidays? The studio was very sparsely furnished though, which was disappointing because there was room for a lounge. Just the beds, a table with two chairs and a desk and desk chair. Also, the storage space for clothes was quite limited and awkwardly shaped - my wardrobe was a triangle. As I said though, had everything you needed, including iron and ironing board. And there is a laundry downstairs that you can use for 5 Euros, which was very convenient, plus a fold out clothes line above the bath tub so that you don't ruin your clothes in a clothes dryer. I had a nice balcony overlooking the street, but I have to say, it was ABSOLUTELY filthy - the floor tiles were covered in grime.

Excellent hotel for large groups.

Posted Aug 30, 2016
Excellent hotel for families/large groups. Location is ideal - very close to the subway and in a decent and quiet neighborhood. We booked two rooms and both are of good size and are clean. The kitchen had all the basic things we needed so we ended up grocery shopping at the food store a block away. For those driving, there are enough spaces in the hotel's parking area in the garage (cost 25 Euros/day...a decent price for Paris). We would gladly stay at this hotel again in the future.

Nice location, professional and friendly staff

Posted Aug 26, 2016
Pros: Location, staff, clean room,
Cons: To put a water sink in toilet
Location: All amenities near by like metro, and most attraction points
Everything was good except toilet facility. There is no sink facility in toilet, huge difficulty, need to wait for bathroom to get empty.

Fabulous apartment-style living in Paris!

Posted Aug 24, 2016
We loved this hotel. As a family of four who likes to cook, apartment-style living suits us well. In Paris, even better! This was our third recent trip to Paris and our first time at the Citadines. We recommend and would return to this hotel ourselves. Ana at check-in was helpful and courteous.
