Loved the apartment. It's in a great location in the museum district, close to the Rodin museum and Invalides (army) museum. More importantly, there is an excellent boulangerie two blocks away, and several cafes, grocery and produce markets, a really great creperie, and a weirdly good frozen food shop next door. Then there is the beautiful St. Clotilde Basilique with its fine architecture next door also. You can hear the church organ and choir from the apartment.
Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Sophie but she was very nice - we communicated by text messages mostly. The only downside of this apartment was no air conditioning, and the temperature went up in to the 90 degree F range, but there are good breezes with all the windows and the electric fans helped. The single-person elevator is also interesting, and some of us got our exercise going up and down the spiral staircase. The second floor loft bonus bedroom was fun.
