The staff was very nice; however, there is no security in picking up your key every time you return to the hotel, so you could ask for any room key and they don’t request any photo ID. The property advertises that the rooms are sound proof, however, there is nothing soundproof in them. We were laying in bed and could literally hear the people showering in the room next to us. We could also hear their entire conversation word for word in the people next to our room and in the hall.

The EST hotel is an excellent place for visitors who plan to be out and about most of the time. The location is fairly central and easy to get to from anywhere in the city. The hotel rooms are not fancy, but the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is super clean and the staff was extremely helpful.

Fabulous place to stay. Staff were welcoming and very helpful especially Alam who served breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly return.

Overall decent
We arrived in the morning after an overnight flight and were able to store our luggage until check in which was great! We were able to freshen up in the lobby bathroom. The window opened in our room for a breeze which was nice, especially at night. However one of the twin beds was just about rock hard and I was not able to sleep. No fridge or microwave in the room, however that wasn't an issue for us.

Great hotel
Great stay, hotel is real close to the metro station so we could visit all city without any problem. Bed is so comfortable. No air conditioner however it has a ventilator which was enough for the heat.

Great 3 star hotel in good location
Wanted a good 3 star hotel close to Gare du Nord but within walking distance to the River Seine and the Est hotel seemed like a good option. All staff were friendly with me being an English speaker and even humoured me with my attempts of speaking French. The room was fine to use as basecamp and met all my requirements. One good thing is you gove your keys at reception every time you leave so no need to worry about loosing them whilst exploring.

Reception smelled amazing.
The reception in this hotel smelt amazing and the rooms seemed very clean and well serviced. The hotel was also only about 10 minutes from gare du Nord so is perfect for the Eurostar and travelling throughout central Paris. The only thing I would point out negatively was that the staircase made me feel a little nervous as the rails weren’t that high, and the windows opened out fully on the landing which made me quite nervous with a 6 year old. There is a landing where you don’t need to pass that part so may be worth mentioning if travelling with children or asking specifically for a lower floor. Other than that a great hotel and really reasonable.

Cheap option for a room for 3 in expensive Paris Close to Gard du Nord and metro stations. Friendly helpful staff. Clean basic rooms, tea coffee,bottles of water. 3rd person bed in their own room for privacy. Did everything we wanted for a couple of nights away. Would stay again.

Comveniently located very close to Gare del Est, Metro and RER. Bery friendly staff and the breakfast is very good / complete for a very reasonable fare. Property does not have A/C in the rooms, however it was not necessary (end of June 2023).

Wonderful stay, we made a great choice. Really comfy bed and lovely room. All the staff are super friendly. Our only 2 very small comments would be toilet seat too high and we could do with a mirror in the bedroom but overall fabulous! We will definitely stay here again.

No air conditioning in room. Had to open windows and it is in the city, so very noisy. The bathtub is VERY high to step into, so it is not practical for elderly people. I am very able bodied and workout on a daily basis and it was hard to get step in and out. The second time I showered, I sat and swung my legs in, which worked much better. Also, if you want to shower, water gets all over the bathroom floor, so also dangerous for elderly people to step out on the wet floor. The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable, I just couldn't recommend not knowing the age and mobility of the people staying there.

Honestly these guys do a super job at keeping the hotel clean. Friendly and helpful staff. As single mother 2 kids i felt so safe here. They guided me with printed directions for my travels round Paris. This was a huge help! The beds are super comfy so much so id taken the name of the mattress! Only down fall is the room was on to the front busy street, ear buds helped with this though. Massive thanks to you for making our stay comfy and secure. We will be back!

The Est Hotel was situated near Gare du Nord which was convenient for us as we travelled on the Eurostar. It was a good base for our first visit to Paris. It was in a busy, multicultural area with lots of restaraunts, shops and cafes nearby. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. The choice of food for breakfast was a little limited with no fruit of any description. However the croissants and bread looked lovely but no good to me as I am gluten intolerant! During our stay there was building work going on next door which was very noisy from about 8am...constant hammering and the sound of machinery. This meant we couldn't have our windows open. Overall the hotel suited our needs and we had a great few days in Paris.

Clean and comfortable, pleasant and polite staff. Close to the metro with easy links into the centre of Paris. Gare de E'est within 5 minutes walk which made the journey from the airport easy. No air con, but fans provided. Water and tea/coffee making (no UHT milk). Breakfast available but i couldnt see a bar or restaurant where this would be served. A good budget hotel, somewhere to rest your head for a short stay.

Est Hotel stay was great
Location was very close to Metro stations, restaurants in the area. Only downside is no air conditioning. We were there during a heat wave so it was pretty tough. Hotel supplied fans and we had traveled with our own. We did not try their breakfast so can't comment on that.

I have stayed here before and had no issues at all, so when my plans brought me back to Paris, I didn’t even look at other hotels and booked here again. What a HUGE mistake. The room was tiny even though it was booked as a larger room, the shower was so small you could barely fit, let alone bend down to wash yourself, we were supposed to have city views but all we looked into was another man’s apartment and him walking around naked in the morning but by far the biggest complaint was the heat. Sure, Paris was having an unprecedented heatwave, but with no AC, the room Was so hot it was uninhabitable. They gave us extra fans, but it did nothing but shift the scorching air. It was never my intention to have to leave, but we simply got no sleep on the first night due to how hot it was, and the hotel simply couldn’t care less. Disgusting behaviour and I’ll never recommend this place or stay there again.

We have no complaints except that we wanted 3 single beds and got a double and a single. The staff was very pleasant and the hotel was clean! Only a 10 minute walk to Gare l’est train station and close to many restaurants. We’d definitely stay again. The breakfast was 9 euros and although not perfect, it was satisfying.

I was at the Est Hotel back in 2017, and I just realized I didn't leave review. But as they say: Better late than never. The rooms are very comfy and clean, great location, I can't stress enough how I was amazed by the customer service. The staff is above and beyond! I was super happy with my experience. Highly recommended.

The receptionists were absolutely amazing. Paul and Quentin made our stay extremely comfortable and we felt safe knowing they were at the front desk in the lobby. The hotel was clean and amazing for the price we paid. One thing we thought was weird is that they didn’t have key cards, just one key. So every time you leave the hotel you need to drop the key off at the front desk and pick it up when you’re back. We were worried because we had some valuables but there was no issues. Everything was great. Thank you for the great stay.
