My stay was a delight. The hotel is modern, comfortable, and is very convenient in terms of visiting all areas on the left bank and it is near to the metro stations Luxembourg, Cluny, and Odeon. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. Their generous and enthusiastic assistance was much appreciated and saved me much time and effort. I give the hotel an A+.

Staff and location, the heart of GHSMPosted Nov 8, 2015
We had a very welcoming start in Paris thanks to the friendly and helpful staff of GHSM. We chose it to try the area as last time we were in Paris we stayed at Champs Elysees area (rookie mistake!), and we have no regrets. The stores, the brasseries, the restaurants, the young people, the historic buildings, the metro accessibility are all just steps from the hotel. For us, it was very convenient. The hotel beds were very comfy and the lobby area very pretty. We felt safe walking into the hotel late at night and in our room. We even had a 'sun roof' in our room! The staff also helped in suggesting touristy stuff to do, how to get there or where to get info, and even booked us the taxi for the last day, making sure we didn't miss the plane. We loved GHSM!!

Great Location!Posted Nov 6, 2015
Lovely hotel in a great location. The staff are fantastically helpful, especially the night receptionist who lent my boyfriend his own personal phone charger as the hotel couldn't supply one. The room was small but perfect for a weekend stay and very clean and well presented. Bed very comfortable as well.

Nice hotel on edge of Latin Qtr/Luxembourg GardensPosted Oct 29, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable & clean room, and location
Location: 5eme. Near Cluny Museum, Luxembourg Gardens, Saint Michel & Notre Dame. Musee D'Orsay within walking distance. Several metro lines close by.
The hotel was a solid 4 star. Staff were friendly. Great location for walking to many usual Paris sites, and wonderful places to eat. Off main road, so relatively quiet for a city hotel. Toiletries were top notch. Hair dryer was not powerful enough, so you may want to pack your own. We had a triple room (parents and one teen), which was quite spacious for Paris.

Nice hotel close to just about everything.Posted Oct 28, 2015
Pros: Location, service, staff.
Cons: Only the size of our room. A discussion about hotel offerings would have been lovely.
Location: Access to metro, shops everywhere, restaurants wherever you look! Notre Dame, Pantheon and Seine River nearby. The location was great for us.
The hotel was lovely. The room was smaller than I expected but the bathroom was very modern and vell stocked with towels, robes, and anything I may have not packed. We arrived earlier than planned and the staff brought up tea, coffee and croissants and took the time to give us a map to help us with our daily excursions. We were able to leave luggage and venture out early. I did not realize a tea time was planned daily and would hVe loved for staff to inform us of hotels offerings. We used the hotels service for airport pick up. I was perfect. Actually early, and I would definitely recommend. Cleanliness is a high priority at this hotel. Our bathroom and bedroom were meticulous daily. Would definitely return but would request bigger room.

Wonderful boutique hotelPosted Oct 22, 2015
This was our first trip to Paris and we were delighted that we chose a hotel right in the Latin Quarter, just a few minutes' walk to Luxembourg Gardens and charming eateries and a short walk to the Seine. Our room was on the 5th floor, which was very quiet. It was a little larger than the standard room, so spacious enough and well laid out. We couldn't figure out how to get the lights to work, but the desk people (who spoke excellent English) explained that we needed to put our room key card into the slot near the main wall switch and that turns the electricity on. Who knew??? The breakfast was a bit pricey, but my husband must have his breakfast, so we had the breakfast buffet most mornings. Tables are beautifully set with silverware. Nice assortment of goodies, and a staff person brings you American coffee. All in all, we'd definitely recommend this hotel and location.

It was okay...Posted Oct 20, 2015
The location wasn't very pleasant. Close to a bar and in an ally. There were a lot of screaming drunks throughout the night. The lights wouldn't work unless we propped some paper behind it, and there were no phones in the room to call the front desk if we needed to. I compared this hotel to the hotel we had just left and my husband and I both agreed that this hotel was not as good...
