Pros: see above
Cons: see above
Location: walking distance to major attractions; close transport options - ReR, Metro; very safe and clean neighbourhood.
Neat and Safe Hotel. we loved our 5 day stay at Ampere. Great location for site seeing in Paris - walking distance from the Arc, very close to the Metro and ReR, cafes nearby. We loved the staff - the ladies at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful and so was the manager, the housekeeping staff was excellent. The only opportunity for improvement would be to provide better or cheaper in-house breakfast options. Even a simple self service setup of fresh croissants or pasteries, waffle maker, cereal and beverages like coffee and milk like the motels in the US would have been great. the current breakfast setup is little too spendy. This hotel is great and I would strongly recommend to family and friends.

Nice modern Hotel

Cons: The room was a bit stuffy and the air conditioning wasn't working.
I stayed at Ampere for 2 nights with my daughter, it is walking distance to two train stations which was helpful, but a bit of a walk to travel by foot for sightseeing. This may have been because it was too cold to walk for 20 minutes, it would have been fine in July. Lovely hotel, nice room and pleasant staff. The entrance and the lobby look great, and it's actractivly festive from the street. All in all it was fine for a couple of nights.

Dear Lisa, Thanks for your feedback concerning our hotel. We appreciate your allusion to the staff and refined and neat decoration of our rooms. Note that the lobby has been recently redone with a new reception desk. In fact, Hotel Ampere stands between Pereire and Wagram metro stations. A position that makes our building an ideal base for excursions in Paris. Attractions such Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysées and Parc Monceau are within a short distance, and therefore can be reached on foot. Regarding our rooms size, we have different categories available on our website. For your next stay, feel free to book another one with more space. We apologize for the air conditioning. Don't hesitate to warn us if you come across this kind of issue. We would be thrilled to remedy it. We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again.

Pros: Location, modern, breakfast
Cons: On Saturday the breakfast was cleared at 10:00 on the dot. They could be a bit more relaxed on the weekend, the many customers certainly wanted it!
Location: Located right next to Pereire Metro / RER station, so Paris is on the doorstep, but the local shops and restaurants are a little less exorbitant.
Picked with a pin randomly from a long list of hotels in Paris, but a good find.

Dear Chris, Thanks for sharing your view with us. Hotel Ampere has the advantage to be located between two metro stations which are Pereire and Wagram. River Seine cruises are reachable with Pereire RER C station nearby to Champs-de-Mars-Tour-Eiffel (7 stops), Pont-de-l'Alma or Invalides. Thanks for hinting at the comfort and breakfast quality. We take note of your suggestion on the breakfast hour. Presently it is 07am-10am from Monday to Saturday and 07h30 am-10h30 am on Sunday. Your contribution contributes to better our service. We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again.

I have a good stay. The hotel is clean and the people were friendly. Just don't request face towels because you will get them and they will not contact you back for an update. My tv was not working for two night told the front desk and someone came up to look at it after 20-30mins later to check on the tv. After that I request to be moved he said he would check but never heard back from him.

Excellent stay at Hotel Ampere

Location: The hotel is perfectly located - steps to two train stations, great restaurants, a Monoprix for groceries and shopping in the Ternes neighborhood.
I stayed at Hotel Ampere late October to early November 2016. I added a couple of personal days to a business trip. I generally prefer smaller, boutique hotels that is just off the touristy areas when travelling. My choice for accommodations was on point. Hotel Ampere is clean, well appointed and has contemporary amenities. It is in an old building that is part of a block of apartments, stores and offices. The staff was excellent and ready to assist. I booked a triple room; although small for North American standards, was very comfortable. The room had a great view of classic Parisian apartments and rooftops, including the top part of the Eiffel Tower. It is in a loverly neighborhood in the 17th arrondissement. Because of the great location, I walked everywhere - to the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees and the Ternes area for great shopping. Other sites were very accessible by train. I always felt safe, even late at night and walking by myself. Over my week long stay, I got a good glimpse of the energy and the people of Paris.
