Family hotel close to Eiffel Tower and gardens.Posted Oct 31, 2015
Pros: Staff spoke excellent English and anticipated our every need. They were genuinely helpful and courteous.
Cons: Although provision of hot water wasn't problem, a kettle in the room with tea and coffee would have been a nice touch. (kettle supplied when asked)
Location: Great location, quite but within easy reach of sights.
Very stylish, welcoming hotel close to the main attractions. Metro stop is a few metres from hotel. Shops, supermarket, restaurants and bars on high street, just to the right when exiting hotel. There were four of us, including two teenage daughters who found the staff very helpful and the hotel very nice.

Great hotel for Paris visit.Posted Oct 29, 2015
A very comfortable smaller independent property, 40 rooms. Accurately named given that it is 2,900 feet from Eiffel. Three metro lines short walk from hotel. Many neighborhood choices for eating. Vey nice spot.

Quiet PositionPosted Oct 27, 2015
Pros: Good location, well maintained, decent sized room.
Small boutique hotel close to metro station and in good area. Near to a number of restaurants and bistros, so not a problem to have breakfast off site if, like us, you think the 18 euros charged is a bit steep. The hotel is well kept and perfectly adequate for a city break. All main attractions are within a 15 minute train ride and plenty are within walking distance. When we next come to Paris, hopefully in 12 months, we hope to return to Hotel Ares.

Wonderful hotel in a great area of ParisPosted Oct 14, 2015
We stayed at this hotel for a full week, and I highly recommend it. I LOVED this hotel. It's very close to a metro station where you can purchase metro tickets, as a well as a metro entrance once you already have a metro ticket. There are several really good restaurants in the area, and great places to hang out and have drinks. It's in an area that doesn't seem extremely touristy, and even with a nearby school and church, I found it to be a generally quiet area. My room was really nice (and much bigger than I anticipated), the bathroom was gorgeous, and the hotel has free wifi. The room had a good sized closet with a lot of shelves for all of our clothes, and also in that closet was a mini fridge and a safe. The mini fridge gets restocked daily, and it's a flat fee no matter whether you drink one item or the whole fridge. Ladies will want to know that there is a light up magnifying mirror in the bathroom, as well as a hair dryer. The rooms do not have converters to charge your American electronics, but the hotel does have a converter you can borrow. I brought my own converter that I bought off of Amazon for $13, and it worked well the whole time. For ladies who use flat irons, a flat iron may blow a regular converter because of how hot those can get, so you may need to buy a fancier converter than the simple one I got. The hotel also has an iron you can borrow if your clothes need it, and they also have laundry service, but I did not have a need for these services.

Perfect Paris HotelPosted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: We love everything - small but comfortable and beautifully decorated - the staff are amazing.
Cons: Nothing - wouldn't want it changed in any way.
Location: Great local restaurants and bars - walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and Metro links.
Just returned from our second stay at Hotel Ares - perfect location - comfortable rooms and loved the Hermes products in the bathroom ! The hotel staff are so helpful - nothing too much trouble - plenty of local restaurants to choose from. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful little hotel to friends and family. A real little gem.
