Well located, clean hotel, excellent sleep

Posted Dec 9, 2016
I chose this hotel since I wished to be located centrally. Transfer from Gard du nord was easy with one change of metro. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming and provided helpful information as required. I had breakfast one day but did not find it an authentic experience so enjoyed pavement cafe petit dejeuners the other two days. The room was comfortable and the bed provided an excellent night's sleep. My room faced the street and although I had the window open I was not disturbed by the traffic. The ensuite was dated and it was difficult to position the shower adequately. The room and ensuite were very clean.

Location: Perfect location close to everything!
It's nothing fancy, but if you're into exploring the city it's more the enough! The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. The location is perfect! And the room has a great cute mezzanine!

Stairwell is a safety hazard

Posted Jun 21, 2016
Fell down stairs due to inadequate upkeep (rug on stairs not secured, causing me to fall landing with my back on the stairs). No apology, no ice available, gave inaccurate directions to my daughter to go buy ice. Took them 2 days to secure the rug even though i pointed out the stair when it happened

Excellent location!

Posted May 1, 2016
Pros: Location, very comfortable and clean.
Cons: Bathroom amenities-no face cloths, towels small
Location: Easy to walk to any stores, metro, Opera house, Louvre, etc. Quaint and good eateries that weren't expensive on off streets instead of on Opera Ave.
For the price, location was excellent. The staff spoke clear English and was very helpful. We arrived early and allowed to check in right away so we could start touring immediately. On the last day they kept luggage until we were leaving Paris which was late evening. Room was very comfortable and quiet, but small but that really wasn't a problem since the location makes up for everything!

Nice hotel close to sites

Posted Sep 17, 2015
Pros: Atmospheric and close to the places we wanted to visit.
Cons: The rooms are very small and would improve with a chest of drawers.
Location: Close to the Louvre Museum, Paris Opera and the Seine. Surrounded by excellent restaurants, French, Asian and Italians
Our stay was pleasant, but the hotel room was badly represented in the photos, giving the impression that it was much bigger than it really was. There were no drawers to put clothes into, as we were there for 4 days we had to leave the suitcase on the table! Though we didn't spend much time at the hotel, a little more space would have been more agreeable. The staff however, were brilliant, really knew everything about travel through Paris to all of the tourist areas. Somewhat pricey for the size and amenities.

Nice hotel close to the Opera House in city centre

Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff and the central location
Cons: the lighting and air con
Location: the Opera House is within walking distance, and as it's in the city centre, most of the tourist attractions are very nearby.
Vey pleasant stay, staff were very friendly and gave advice to tourist attractions. There are lots of Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese restaurants and shops on our street so convenient for my parents to choose their meals as we are from Beijing. I booked a triple room for my parents and myself. When we checked in, the hotel manager Alice informed us that there had been a plumbing problem in that room so she arranged for us to have a double room and a single room at no extra cost, which is fantastic. The only down side is the lights in the rooms are not bright enough for us to read maps, but that's just a all matter; and there's no air con in the rooms but then again we could stand it even in the heat of August in Paris.

Very Nice Place!

Posted Aug 12, 2015
Pros: We really liked the hospitality
This hotel is centrally located and the rooms clean and good-sized. The room was a bit warm (July) but a fan was provided. Linda, her daughter, and everyone we met at the desk was kind and helpful. We appreciated their recommendations, especially the restaurant Le Mesturet. It was not a problem for them to keep our bags downstairs after we checked out so we could sightsee without dragging bags along.

Cons: No air conditioner in the room. It was very uncomfortable to stay in this hotel.
We did not like the hotel. Elevator and rooms were very small and uncomfortable. No AC in the room; only a small table fan was provided. Even though the hotel staff was very nice and helpful, we would not stay in this hotel again.
