Bath tub with no curtain, you need to climb into it, for a room that’s is close to $700.00, it’s not worth it, I understand it’s Paris, but not for that kind of $$$

Hotel was a great and very centrally located. Staff was very nice. My only complaint was that the heater was on and it was very hot in the room. Even though we turned it off there was no ventilation. You had to open the big windows to let air in but then you had the noise of the cars.

Very convenient to both Concord and Tuileries Metro stations. Nice lobby sitting area. Breakfast room is small and cramped but otherwise nice. On a busy street.

We loved everything about this property. Old-world charm, clean, friendly, great architectural bones, great staff, etc. Our only complaint (non-related to the hotel) was the hotel faces a small courtyard surrounded by other buildings and every morning construction resumed / started by 0700. We are in construction management and understand the need, however, it a pain to hear each morning.

Great location. Staff was very friendly and always smiling! The breakfast buffet was very plentiful and so fresh! We had a room with the view of the park, who couldn't have beaten our view!! Loved it!

This Hotel is located in a great location for travelers wanting to be at a central location to all the major tourist attractions. The hotel staff was always willing to help, and most spoke good English. They have a tea time with cake every afternoon which was nice to sit and relax for an hour in between exploring the city. We stayed in a junior suite with Paris vue and the 180 degree shot of Paris is worth it!

We had a surprisingly terrible experience with our room assignment when we arrived at this highly-rated hotel. Carpet was sopping wet in half the room, plus temperature was too hot and could not be regulated so we had to leave window open all night. We were told the carpet had recently been shampooed and would be dry when we returned from dinner (it wasn’t). Shower was very difficult & dangerous to negotiate for older guests. We were unable to relocate on the first day so we spent an uncomfortable night. On day 2 we moved to a much better room. The manager apologized profusely & gave us a more comfortable & spacious room with better temperature controls, dry carpeting and a walk-in shower. . Breakfast at 25€ was mediocre however (unimpressive baked goods, bottled juices rather than fresh). We found much better cafes in the neighborhood such as The Carrousel. At checkout we noticed an overbilling for additional breakfasts we never ate — the clerk fixed our bill. Although we know Paris well, we should have chosen a different neighborhood at Christmas. This iconic neighborhood is a bit too crazy during the holidays — crowds, huge Christmas market & amusement park near Louvre, noise & horrible traffic. But if you have kids & want to be in the heart of Paris tourist attractions, it’s great. Just inspect your room carefully at check-in.

A gem. The room was small but clean. The breakfast was delightful. The view was priceless. For the money, book the Vieux Room which affords a continuous view from the Louvre on the left to the Arc de Triomphe on the right. When the Eiffel Tower sparkles at night you have an unobstructed view. I don’t think most 5 star and way more expensive hotels have that. The staff was gracious and helpful (especially Sultana!). It’s right across the Seine from the Orsay and across the street from the Tuileries Garden (and Metro Station). Worth the stay. And we’ll be back.

Great hotel!
My daughter and I had a lovely stay at the Hotel Brighton. The staff were great, breakfast was delicious and the room was everything we were looking for. Right across the street from the Louvre, lots of great restaurants within walking distance and a great view of the Eifel Tower from our window.

We enjoyed our stay at the Brighton! The location is great for walking to the museums and dining. The breakfast room is a bit small and could offer a bit more in terms of hot dishes and fruit but it was still good! I was pleasantly surprised that Rue De Rivoli has been turned into mainly a biking street which is awesome!

It’s a beautiful old building, rooms and lounge nicely finished. BUT we booked a junior suite which was hot on our arrival, the air conditioning worked poorly (they gave us a massive fan), the fridge wasn’t hooked up, the tv didn’t work and the batteries in the remote were dead. Not a 4* experience.

This was the perfect hotel for viewing riders in the final stage of the Tour de France. Make sure you get a city view room, and you will be able to see the riders eight times as they make their final circuits. Hotel is very, very close to Louvre, Tuileries Gardens, metro, shopping, and several good restaurants. Also easy walk to Arc du Triomphe. Beware that in July there is usually a carnival set up in the gardens across the street so there is some loud street noise to contend with when trying to sleep. You'll need to close the windows, but there is AC so that's ok. A fan or some other source of white noise also helps. I would not let that keep me from staying at this location unless my #1 goal was peace and quiet. No onsite restaurant, but the breakfast buffet is excellent, and they will bring it to your room at no additional fee. Overall, a lovely little hotel in the middle of all the Paris action.

The location was perfect for us , lots of restaurants, easy walking or subway to everything. Lots to explore. Breakfast was healthy and delicious. Would definitely stay there again. The only negative we found was the air conditioning was not as cool as we would have liked. Other than that would highly recommend!
