The air conditioning didn't work. When we asked for towels. The staff who was cleaning the room next door started to dig into a bag which looked like it had dirty towels. Which we declined.

It was nice french canteen saved this hotel because there was nice food there. But it needs to be fixed up abit and the manger tried to call police on us the day we checked out kmt

Dank, dim and smelly
Location fairly close to CDG. Non-smoking room smelled of old smoke. Bathroom tile grout had black mold. TV never found the remote control. Bad lighting and old decorating.

The hotel is a perfect for the location of you are doing business at the expo center. Very simple accommodation but the price fits the place.

Not for us!
Very disappointed with this accommodation. It was very dated, not what the photos led us to believe. This was more of a motel rather than a hotel. The entrance to our rooms was outside and we had lots of men stood around our entrance smoking cannabis. The girls didn't feel safe and decided to share a room. The shutters gave it a prison like feel. The bar closes extremely early which was disappointing and there wasn't anywhere local to grab a beer after travelling. The rooms could really do with a thorough clean. To finish on a positive - the staff were great, their customer service was very good and they made us feel welcomed.

There was a large stain of "something" on the bathroom door. Looked like wine or something. Terribly easy to wipe of but it was there for days. I was not given the code to the front gate and was locked out on the street when returning from a local trip. Security had to be paged and unlocked the gaye for me. I put the "Do not disturb/dont clean" sign on my door but they came in anyways and moved my stuff around to make bed/clean. Only half the lights in the room worked.

Old, dirty carpeting but decent food
Dirty old carpeting. Television was broken by previous guest, but we were told about this at check-in and were offered free breakfast in the morning. Dinner was surprisingly good and breakfast was decent. Security gate was closed with guard when we arrived at 18:00, but was open with no guard at 07:00. Is the area only dangerous in the evening???

Do not waste your money! This place is filthy dirty. There were stains on the wall, an odor to the room, dirt and grime. It was horrible and we couldn't sleep it was so disgusting.

No fresh milk for tea- no fridge in room. Basin plug did not work - staff run off their feet- be prepared to carry all your bags up two flights of stairs- energy saving lights so very dim light not condusive to reading - neighbourhood not great- restaurant food not fabulous - only good thing is its close to the exhibition centre. The reception area is lovely but the rooms are a let down.

Daylight robbery
Expedia's website announces the Hotel Campanile as being at the Park des Expositions at Villepinte and this was the reason I booked the hotel. The Park des Expositions is a 15 minute or an hour's walk. The price of £135.00 per night is shameful. The hotel is a glorified motel with minute rooms, a restaurant which only offers buffet food, which is also overpriced. The correct price should be about £50 per night but obviously as there is raised demand during exhibitions, the price is massively raised.

Close to CDG with car and free parking!
Needed a hotel to be near CDG airport and all the other hotels within 5 miles were charging a obscene 15-23 euros for the night to park my rental car. This hotel has free parking. Rooms are small, but it's Europe, but has what is needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. About 12 minutes from CDG by car and easy access to rental car drop off. Small restaurant and bar make it convenient and gas station across the street to fill up before heading out. May not be exactly the quietness spot in the AM with street about 150 yards away but I am a light sleeper. I would stay there again.

Convenient to attend exhibition at Villepinte
I usually stay this are for attending exhibitions. It is easy to approach by sharing the taxi only at Euro 7.00 per head, and traveling back from the exhibition is at Euro 15.00 approx. There is no complain on the hotel for the business stay.

Very far from Charles de Gaulle airport, yet lists on Expedia when one filters on Roissy-en-France. Telephone, WIFI in room doesn't not work. When thermostat on room is turned OFF, temperature drops to below 10 deg C. Due to above anomalies, requested cancellation of next stay at hotel, but was refused. Totally below Campanile standards.

Below the normal Campanile standards
1. No wifi or internet access in the room 2. Telephone not working 3. Thermostat not working: when I turned it OFF, the temperature in the room dropped resulting in my inability to sleep that night. The first two items were brought to the attention of your manager on duty; he also called your home and left a voice message, to no avail. As a result of the low standard of accommodation provided, I request you to cancel my reservation for September 19, 2014 and provide a full refund of my reservation amount.

Stay away. Must be a bad suburb.
First it will cost you 35 euro's by taxi or 25 by train and 2 buses to get there. Food is overpriced in their "restaurant". Staff was not very helpful.

bad neighborhood and terrible beds
When we arrived our door would not lock, and the hotel did quickly move us to room #002. We have stayed in this hotel before because of the good price and it's location near CDG. After staying in hotels and motels for 40 years, we can say that the mattress in our room was the worst mattress that we have ever slept on in a hotel. We do not recommend this hotel.
