Nice boutique hotel, good location but no service

Posted Jan 9, 2017
Pros: Location comfort and quietness
Cons: Sometimes language can be a barrier but this is a hotel! Improve the the amount and quality of tea & coffee and service the room
Location: The Eiffel Tower is 10mins walk away, tube and high rail services are very close, there are hundreds of Cafes restaurants and food retailers all round
This is a nice little hotel in a great location but is let down by a lack of service over the 3 nights we had, just little things like horrible tea and coffee, no change of towels and over priced breakfast was a bit disappointing. However room and bed were very comfortable and there are many other food choices close by

Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Our teas and coffees are appreciated from the majority of our guests. However, everyone has his own taste and I can understand that you did not like it. But it is not a general opinion. Also, it is complimentary in every room. We change our towels every day. As it is written in all our bathrooms, you have to let them on the floor if you whish us to change them. It is an environmental gesture. Please do not hesitate to come at the reception nest time if you have any problem, it will be easier to fix it while you are still here. Best regards, Jérémy L. Hotel manager

Smaller than I expected but clean & comfortable

Posted Jun 30, 2016
Pros: Wonderful staff, good location
Cons: Everything seems small & crammed
Location: Walking distance from the Eiffel Tower as well as lots of places to eat & shop
The room was a lot smaller than I thought it'd be but I guess that's what you get for staying in the heart of Paris. Overall I would recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly & helpful and although the hotel seems a bit small everything is clean and in great condition.

Nice area

Posted May 8, 2016
Pros: Nice residential location. Not as crowded as the 6th/7th and still convenient. Tiny room but comfortable beds, elevator, breakfast available.
Cons: Energy conservation is top of mind for this hotel, which is great, but: when its hot out, don't turn the a/c system off during the night.
Location: Close to the market under the metro line (Wed and Sat) near Rue du commerce, Eiffel Tower, metro stop literally around the corner. It's Paris...!
Stayed here 03/05 to 07/05 2016. Well located for access to the Metro. The hotel is located on a little side street so it is quiet at night. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Great access to the Metro which is still a complex system but with much improved signage. My daughter and I had each been to Paris but it was our first time here together. We spent some time seeing sights but honestly, we mostly ate, people watched from the street seating in bars and restaurants and shopped! We had a great time and would definitely have ended up over our customs limit if not for a public holiday on May 5th. It was L'Assencion which is a religious observance but means stores are CLOSED!! The French take their holidays seriously! We didn't think to check for any holidays that might affect opening hours at sights and attractions - our bad. Attractions weren't closed but because it was a national day off, meant families took the opportunity to spend time together and it was BUSY. Security in Paris is noticeably higher - we saw lots of police and also military security. A bit unnerving and reassuring all at the same time. Paris is Paris though despite these "new realities" - it's lovely for whatever reason you're there. Plan that trip....GO....you won't regret it!

Too much noise from other rooms.

Posted Nov 24, 2015
Location: Great access to the Metro and on a fairly quiet street.
Very compact rooms with what feels like zero sound proofing, every noise on that floor could be heard from the room, talking, coughing and especially the TV in the next room until two in the morning!

Nice hotel less than 5 minute walk to Eiffel Tower

Posted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: Location
Location: Five-minute walk to Eiffel Tower. Two excellent bakeries within 2 minute-walk. Metro stop close by so it is easy to get around Paris.
This hotel is in a great location - pretty much across the street from a metro stop. Great Italian restaurant across the street, around the corner from a great bakery and close to several bars and cafes.
