For younger travelers on a budget, very basic ...

Posted Nov 28, 2016
Pros: Perfectly situated near Moulin Rouge, very friendly staff.
Cons: Bedding needs to be replaced.
Location: Montmartre is an easy walk away, so you get the chance to walk off those delicious French pastry calories.
The hotel is situated in the lively Moulin Rouge/red lights district. It's best suited for younger, budget-minded travelers. The staff is very friendly and efficient. No elevator and very narrow, winding stairs. The bedding needs to be replaced, burn holes in the sheets and stains on the bedspread. But otherwise clean and suitable for a short stay.

Clean and basic hotel in good location.

Posted Sep 25, 2015
Pros: WiFi included. Pleasant staff. Clean and comfortable. Good location within a block of Metro, restaurants and fast food, and a grocery store.
Hotel staff were very friendly. We were offered tea and espresso upon arrival while waiting for room. Most employees spoke at least a little English and all were happy to try their best to communicate with us. The room was clean and comfortable. Small compared to North America but pretty average for Paris.

The hotel is very well located a few blocks from the Metro and in a very nice central area full of restaurants and cafes. The staff was very nice, and helpful and the room had averything we needed.

Ideal for exploring Montmartre it's street life.

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Location mainly as walking into Galleries La Fayette took a 40 min leisurely stroll.
Cons: A luggage lift as the staircase was a little a tight fit trying to suitcases up to the rooms.
Location: To do things nearby, Sacre-Coeur, Moulin Rouge, Place de Clichy and Montmartre cemetery.
Great variety of shops and characters live in this area of Paris. The walk from the hotel to the Sacre-Coeur church was all up hill but the views of Paris were spectacular.

A short stroll to Le Moulin Rouge

Posted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: Location in the heart of Montmartre!
Cons: The smell of the (carpet deodorizer?) was strong. For people like myself with sensitivity to perfumes, I would recommend using an unscented product.
Location: The hotel is 5 min to Le Moulin Rouge, shops, restaurants, metro Place de Clichy & 15 min to Sacré Cœur Basilica, St. Pierre's Church, Place Tertre.
The hotel is down the street from the metro stop (Place de Clichy). The room is nicely decorated & clean. The toilet is in a closed space separate from the sink & shower, both inside the room. There are 2 large windows which open to the rear of adjacent buildings. Although there is no view, it was quiet for sleeping. Please be advised there is no elevator (lift) in this hotel. A tip when searching for this hotel: There are 2 roads with similar names: Avenue de Clichy & Boulevard de Clichy. Once you have made the distinction, you will have no problems orienting yourself.

Reasonably priced hotel in Paris

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Staff are friendly. Location is not too bad.
Cons: Wifi is really slow and many times cannot even connect.
It was a decent comfy small hotel. Close to Metro Place de Clichy, which has two lines, i.e. Line 2 and Line 13.
