Hotel malown

Posted Nov 19, 2016
Pros: I liked the shower cubicle = rather big compared to the room
Cons: It is s small hotel. Hence there are limitations to what could be done
Location: Close to Boulevard Hausmann with all big department stores. Close to the place where Kim Kardashin got robbed (if anyone interested in that).
From the outside it does not look much but the hotel has been renovated and the rooms are very modern especially for Paris standards (if you go to paris on regular basis you will understand this comment). The room is big enough (and again compared to other hotels in Paris) comfortable. Location is very good. Close to Boulard Hausmann with all the big department stores. Close to differnet Metro stations, so you can reach any point of interest by Metro rather quickly.

Great hotel in central Paris

Posted Jul 16, 2016
Pros: Location was great
Location: Cafe's and shopping right outside hotel
Great location in central Paris in a safe neighborhood with shopping and cafe's nearby. Walkable to main tourist sites such as the Louvre (about a mile). Easy access to the subway. Staff was extremely helpful in recommending dining options and helping with airport transfers.

I spent 4 nights at Hotel Le Malown during a business trip and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is small, to be sure, but it's very well done. The rooms are well designed and feel chic rather than claustrophobic, and I found the furniture and closets very accommodating. I believe the hotel was recently renovated; some of the images and reviews online are outdated, which is likely bringing down the average rating. Hotel Le Malown located on a side street, which makes for a peaceful location. Breakfast is available - good to have, just in case - but the brasserie (Le Greffulhe) next door is also a treasure. There are also a couple small stores at the end of the block should you need groceries. No gym or fitness room in the hotel, but it's in a perfect location for a long walk around Paris. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!
