The place got a greasy feel and smell. Room is small. I booked a room with twin double bed, but in turn, they gave me a room with 3 twin beds on the top floor with no elevator access. Floor is squeaking, the room is really in the attic, with two sky windows (glass got tapped up). The guys wants 2 euro for a cup of hot water / tea. He charges everything you ask for eg: store luggage or water. BTW, there is no hot water kettle, or small fridge at all in the room.

Nice staff but terrible view on a wall in the backyard and the noise of the Metro underneath the building and really too expensive for what it is worth - rooms are also much smaller than they appear on the pictures and rooms facing the street way too noisy. Very hot as well, the fan was badly needed.

The fan in the room was very noisy -- it wasn't possible to sleep with that on. And a fan was certainly necessary, since it was 38 degrees outside when we visited. There was also no "do not disturb" sign, so got woken up by housekeeping knocking on the door early in the morning. Otherwise the hotel was fine.

Early Check In Equals Happy Customer
I had arrived pretty early to my hotel after travelling all night to Paris. I was able to check in early and leave my luggage in the storage as I went to explore the area and get some food. Once I returned back to the hotel and relaxed in the lobby area, I was kindly given a key to a room so that I may sleep and rest. This made me super happy as I got to do just that.

Everything was nice
I stay in this hotel for two night. Hotel was very nice. Trams,metrostation, and bus stop is near to hotel. At the reception mr. Moamed he was nice guy and his service was good.

Great stay not too far from the center of town. Booked here last minute and was pleasantly surprised by our stay. The room size was quite nice for Paris, quiet room, and only 40 minutes by train to the Eiffel Tower. Within 10 minutes walking distance to metro station and safe area. Check in and check out were a breeze when booking with hotels.com

OK hotel- nothing special, rooms are small but OK. However, be warned: if you put "Hotel Luxor" into google, it routes you to a wrong address.

Good location but noisy at night.
Stayed for the Expo Protection show in Porte de Versailles Pavillion. Great location, only a 5 minute walk away from the venue. Staff are nice and friendly. Room was cleaned to a good standard. I got a single room and not the double as booked. The room was very small and also very warm.

Not a comfortable stay
The room is quite small and basic, the shared toilet was clean but the shower was small, unclean and the shower head was not attached to the wall so water sprayed out onto the floor. The walls are paper thin and it is close to the metro so there is quite a bit of noise from fellow guests and passing trains. We found the staff to be quite hit and miss as well, the gentleman who checked us in late at night was friendly, however housekeeping didn't knock and walked straight into the room while we were in there and the morning that we checked out the staff were noticeably irritated that we were sitting in the lobby planning out where to go next with our map. Overall, it was an uncomfortable stay and we won't return.

I preferred to lose my money to stay in this hotel. I arrived at the hotel with my children and I found that the manager only spoke French and screaming to a person upstairs. I went to a nearby bar to book in another hotel lost my money. The hotel does not look like the photos and cleanliness is not the best.

Easy to find from metro. Great place for buget travel with very friendly staff. Very clean too. On complaint would be no lift which you feel after a long day walking

This was the worst place I've stayed!! Nice staff but shockingly small rooms!! Couldn't even fit two suitcases on the floor!! Would not recommend to anyone, it's horrible!!

Never going to stay here.
Very convenient for public transportation. In the heart of Paris. Rooms are tiny. Bath rooms are 4 square foot. It wont fit a person. Hot water is a problem.

An ideal hotel if you need to see Paris on a budget. A short walk to the Metro and plenty of lower cost restaurants nearby. No lift so be prepared for a walk.

Room was very small, there are six floors with no elevator, and wifi was only available in the lobby, but it was still a pretty good bargain. The staff was a bit grouchy, but ultimately there were no problems. It's in a nice quiet area far away from most tourists, but only a 3 minute walk to the nearest train station and a 15-20 minute ride to all of the main attractions.

Luxor hotel very close to Paris
Very nice welcoming from the staff. Even if my room was very basic, it stand on the back, not the street, on the 4th floor, so i was lucky not to have any noise. The shower was very basic, as was the restrooms but clean. Overall, I spent a good bight sleep given the price I paid

Good for tourists on a budget
Recently had a good experience with this hotel. Most of the staff speaks some English, and they were very helpful and friendly, even calling us a taxi at 5am after our scheduled shuttle never showed up . Although this hotel is a fairly far walk from most of the tourist areas of Paris, it is very close to a metro line, which makes it quite easy to see as much of the city proper as you want. Our room had some comfort issues - noise from the street, stuffy when it was hot out, etc. But these weren't very bothersome considering the affordable price, the helpfulness of the staff, and the proximity of the metro. In other words, it's ideal for tourists on a budget who plan to be spending most of their time outside of their room anyways.

Good for a cheap one-night stay
It's cheap and it's good enough for a one-night stay, though I would not recommend it if you're staying for longer of travelling with company. Definitely choose a room with en suite, as the shared toilets are in appalling condition and don't even have a sink for hand-washing. The condition of the room and the bathroom was good, though it was clear the bathroom had not been cleaned between guests. We were not asked if we wanted twin or double, and ended up with a double though we would have preferred twin. The double bed was big enough for us (two average-size women in their 20s), but I heard some middle-aged men in similar situation complaning. My biggest complaint was that wifi was only available in the lobby, not in the rooms. If I could have facebooked away in the comfort of the bed, I would have been happy to get decent accommodation for a cheap price, but as it was, I was mostly bored during my stay.

No a/c, hair dryer. Soap dispenser did not work. TV was good with ability to see some soccer! Room is elementary. Wifi connection good in lobby only. Staff are friendly. Near Corentin stn on number 12 train, so good access. About 2 cafes nearby. Ok for pit stop or one night stay if single. Would not advise for families.

The locations is good just between two metro stops, we had a room in the 4th floor with no elevator, internet doesn't work in the rooms and is very slow, staff tries but doesn't speak English, if you need directions you are better off with the information booth in the metro station. The room was clean but ugly

Don't waste your money
Honestly, we booked this room soley based on location and money. It was our first trip to Paris and we wanted somewhere close to the "city center" that was reasonably priced. You can definitely get what you pay for. We had "superior" double but don't let the title fool you. We got a private bathroom with only scolding hot water and a no light that worked in the bathroom. There wasn't even a holder for the shower head, so you're standing in the tub with a hose pretty much! The weirdest thing of all was that they wouldn't let you take your own room key with you when you left to building. They made you give it to them then ask for it back after. It was like checking in every single time. There is no lift and the wifi is awful. They say free wifi but once you get past the semiconductor floor there isn't any! Overall it was dirty and the service was rude.
