We enjoyed staying at this property in Paris with a view of Montmartre and Place de la Concorde from our balcony. The room was clean, the bed was a bit hard, but linens were good. No hair conditioner sadly. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room was cutely decorated. Staff were excellent and provided advice and suggestions on request.

Great sleep and private sauna!
We love this boutique hotel. We stayed 6 years ago and it was as good as we remembered. The rooms and the bed were wonderfully cozy, we could have slept all day. The windows open and some rooms have great city views. And our favorite feature is the private hamman and sauna you can reserve downstairs. We will be back!

Loved our stay. It’s a small intimate hotel , beautifully designed with ultra comfortable beds, very clean , and the rooms are equipped with the essentials . The staff is very pleasant and inviting . Their restaurant downstairs where they serve a breakfast buffet is lovely and is aesthetically pleasing . The choices for breakfast were many and everything was delicious . I recommend this hotel to anyone .

I stayed at the property beginning Oct 8, 2023 through October 12, 2023. It was my first time in Paris, I’m from the SF Bay Area 🌉🌁. The staff tended to all of my needs and were very helpful and friendly; which meant a lot. I was a solo traveler and they made sure that I was safe by ensuring my Taxi services were appropriate and explaining questions I had. I totally recommend if you’re looking for a Parisian Style Hotel with heart.

The room was small and there is no place to hang towels but otherwise a perfectly delightful stay. The location is excellent and there is convenient mass transit nearby.

The hotel room smelled like a wet dog. The carpets were dark and appeared dirty. The hotel pictures on the web looked like they are from different hotel. The hotel rooms need to be updated. The AC would automatically shut off in the middle of the night and we would wake up hot. Then, we had to turn it on again. Police sirens were heard through the night and the area was not near anything. I am thankful that I only stayed there one night. Also, the key (orb thing) was attached to a pretty good sized, stuffed Effie Tower and if you did not have a pocketbook, it was hard to carry. The staff were very polite and welcome.

Staff was very attentive. There’s that. The rest was underwhelming. There was an odor in the hallways and in the room. We couldn’t go in the elevator with luggage , so it was either people or luggage inside. Poor lighting in the room. Mattress wasn’t comfortable. No water at the bar. No water provided in the room.

Given the choices of hotels in Paris, I would not recommend Hotel Marias for various reason. First the front house staff is young, inexperienced and seem to have no training in hospitality. Upon check-in, we were not given anything in regards to services provided by the hotel including items of extra cost. All they did was pretty much collect payment and did not provide any resources in regards to navigating Paris or the immediate area. Second, the room is small, even for European standards. There was the bed and a small desk. With that there was barely any room to walk and no room for luggage. Third, the room was stocked with items for a party of one. One towel, one coffee cup, one bath cup. It didn't make any sense. Fourth, breakfast is not included in your stay. Given the reservation did not mention breakfast, every other hotel we stayed at in Europe, breakfast was included. Furthermore, and back to my earlier point, we were never told that there was an extra cost until we received the bill at 18 Euro per person. The breakfast is your standard fare, and is nothing special. The hotel is clean and up to date, that is the only thing I can say is positive. This hotel is rated as a 3 star, but the experience felt more like a 2 star hotel.

Our rooms have the standard size for a Parisian hotel, but we do have bigger ones.In regards of the mistake concerning the number of people, we could have solve it at your arrival, and we apologize for this missing. We do propose a rate for room and breakfast or room only, and in my opinion, many hotels have this offer. I grant you we should have told you the breakfast was not included and the rate for it. The buffet breakfast has been upgraded, with fresh fruits and products, good cheese and our viennoiseries are delivered every mornings by our nice boulangerie. We fully understand your opinion during your stay but hope you spent a good time in Paris. The Marais Hôme team.

Rooms small, I suppose budget priced, the toilet in bathroom was cramped. Quiet because windows faced inward on to small courtyard surrounded by high buildings on all sides, so no outlook, but quiet was appreciated. Housekeeping did not replace the paper cups provided for instant coffee and tea making as well as in bathroom for brushing teeth. Paper cups are not really acceptable, especially when not replaced daily. The bed was large and comfortable, though too hot with the quilt as in most hotels.

Hôtel Marais on riot days rock!!!
Had requested double bed traveling with my 18 year daughter. Got a king bed so we had to wait for another room the change was done pretty quickly. Room are really small not much space for luggage but we managed. All staff were very good, we forgot my daughter IPad in the safe, I call and a young lady was able to retrieve it. When I pick it up Sunday the same young lady gave it to me she was SUPER Nice great service…other than the riot next to the hotel Thursday we overall had a great time..

Clean, cozy, convenient
Clean, friendly, and convenient. Very close to the Republic Metro stops. The rooms are small. We reserved a twin deluxe for a father daughter weekend in Paris. There was about a foot on each side of the bed and a very small washroom. That said… rooms in Paris ARE small so… c’est la vie! There is a lovely wellness space that i used each morning to stretch and do a little yoga. This is also a very walkable location to the Marais or even the museums. (One weird thing… there is one room key per room and you leave at at the front desk when you come and go.)

Stayed here for our Babymoon in Paris. The hotel was trendy, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Good location being only a minute walk to the metro, which is very easy to use and get around. The most direct walk to the Seine (and Notre Dame) is about 20 minutes. Would stay again.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The rooms were clean and beautiful, the staff and breakfast were lovely! The hotel was perfectly located, right next to a plethora of bars and restaurants in Republique. I can not emphasize how great all the employees were. They made my stay so great! I will be recommending this hotel to my friends when they come to Paris as well as visiting it again!

Conveniently located close to Place de la Republica. Spacious room for Paris. Terrace was a big plus. Surprised by comfy bed and comforter. Nice staff. The shower drainge design could be better as water splashed everywhere.
