Around the corner from the Moulin Rouge

Stayed for 2 nights in late-September.
Good location and very nice staff.
Room was adequate - small but comfortable enough with a desk.
However, the hotel is in desperate need of a refurb and a deep clean.
The view out of my window was onto an outside interior area, which was strewn with rubbish - frankly, it looked as if it was being used as a dumping ground.
Carpet in the room was old and stained. Although the shower worked fine, the tub was old and very grubby. There is also no air conditioning in the room.
The WiFi was overcomplicated to connect to and quite temperamental.
Finally, upon check-in, I was asked to write my full credit card number on the guest details form. While nothing untoward came of this, I cannot recall any hotel anywhere ever asking me to do this before and don't understand the need for doing this - particularly as payment is taken upon arrival.
Maybe when the work they were doing internally at the time is complete, the place will be better.
