Great hotel for the excellent pricePosted Nov 19, 2015
Pros: Location, convenience, clean room and friendly staff.
Cons: I've notice that as the name of the hotel indicates it is quite original in decor. Some people may not be crazy about it. I canna liked it :)
Location: vibrant neighborhood with nice pastry shops and small local restaurants, close to metro, easy access to all the attractions
I had a very good experience. I was welcomed by a very professional staff, bottle of champagne (thanks to Expedia) and a room upgrade :) great location, if you like to walk as much as I do you can practically access most tourist attractions without using metro which is located 50 yards away anyway. The neighborhood has some of the best little restaurants with truly authentic french cuisine without spending too much money. I would definitely recommend this place and certainly be back.

The location is close to everything, metro, great night life , active neighborhood, accessible to almost everything, walkable museums, great staff! Don't mind the room deco- just enjoy it's Paris! :) You would keep loving Paris, if you stay in this hotel. I am definitely coming back for the 3rd time.

Fun and Trendy Hotel - But a few downsidesPosted Nov 9, 2015
The hotel is very much featured like the pics on Expedia and is a fun and trendy hotel, so I was super excited for the stay. The hotel staff were great, the facilities were very clean and the location was perfect right on the metro. There were a few things that made this hotel disappointing rather than excellent. If they could improve on a couple of items it could quickly change my rating. 1. Although the room shows the ability for AC and Heat the only working option was heat and it got warm in the room. 2. The walls are very thin, all I could hear was the person in the room next door coughing and sneezing all night with chatter. 3. My room only had a bath tub and trying to shower with the hand held resulted in water all over the floor due to the rub and faucet design. I think the trigger point for my stay was the inability to run the AC or just a fan to add white noise, blocking out the noise from the room next door.

Very Pleasant StayPosted Nov 8, 2015
Great location, close to restaurants, attractions, and transportation. Very clean, and great room condition. Staff was very helpful and speak excellent English. Elevator is a bit old, and the room is small (maybe other rooms are bigger) but the bed was great. Recommended

Eclectic hotel central to the Marais.Posted Oct 20, 2015
This hotel was in a great central location, right off the Bastille, steps away from the opera house or the Marais. The hotel is clean and everyone who worked there were very nice, pleasant and spoke English very well. The room, decorated like a deck of cards, was fun, cozy and really clean. One of the lights in the bathroom had burned and they fixed by the time we returned later that day. It's a nice hotel that makes an artist feel at home. And if you're not an artist, it'll bring out the creative side in you. I'll definitely stay there again.

great boutique hotel in parisPosted Oct 13, 2015
this is a truely unique boutique hotel in a nice area. i was so pleased that even though i arrived early my room was ready and had been given a double instead of the single i had booked. the room was very well done (maybe a touch on the dark side) and the bed and linens very comfortable. the staff was very helpful and friendly. i will be going back and will recommend to friends and clients.
